The limousine of Caddies.
I bought this car from a " little old lady " after 4 years and 40,100 miles. I now have 218,000 miles on it and will drive it sparingly along with my 2002 DeVille. The car has flown way above any expectations that I could have possibly dreamed it would do. Reliability, design, performance, you name it....all have been tremendous. Some one mentioned the vinyl armrests- it's true. They started to crack a few years ago. The only downer , and a mild one, of an otherwise superb model. The best car I've ever owned and a true testament to the quality of Cadillac. I hope my "other" Caddy comes close to the same standards of the old '90.
Rich man's pride-poor man's secret!
What a way to appreciate Cadillac ride than to get out of a Corvette and into one! When my father offered to buy me a car after the passing of my mother and the theft of my $30,000 Stingray, the choice was a no-brainer. Sure, I looked at a couple of LSC's and 1979 Trans Ams (whoops.). Common sense took over and I went with what I knew-we already owned a 92 DeVille and a 91 Seville, both excellent cars. After picking my dark blue 91 and putting new Bosch injectors, new struts, steering rack, Michelins, and tuneup on it, it is still the car I'd dreamed of-BIG but 20.7 AVERAGE mpg, total luxury including FAST, classic Caddy beauty and an incredible ride. 155,00 mi no problems. Great engineering!!!

My beautiful Caddy
If this car wasn't so great looking I'd had gotten rid of it a long time ago. I've owned many GM cars and even a Dodge and VW Rabbit and this car has had more things go wrong with it then I have ever had with any other car. Major things like the on board computer, the fuel tank and fuel pump had to be replaced twice, A/C stopped working, and now the injectors are going bad. It has 97,000 miles on it. good points....gets excellent gas mileage even in town I average 20 - 23 and on the freeway at 65 mph I get around 28 to 31. the engine is very powerful and responsive. bad points there is always some little thing breaking down and repairing this car is very expensive UPdate: did major tuneups and replaced idle sensor control & electronic module it now runs like brand new Update; 9/23/16 finally after three different garages and mechanics and six months (they all told me something different) an older mechanic figured out I needed a new electronic module...a $30 part. Now the car never dies and runs great.... March 2017 this car should be called F O R D fix or repair daily engine runs great but nothing else wants to work Sep 2019 I no longer own this car I gave it away to a person that badly needed a car...

Pretty to Look at, but in the shop often
I bought this car used 90K miles after owning two other Caddy's as used cars before. The check engine light came on periodically and I had some stalling after a month. The cause of the check engine light was dismissed after multiple diagnostic tests as just "needing a tune up". After a year I replaced the fuel pump, a/c compressor, water pump, starter and had some sort of what seemed like a fuel line problem that no one could find. The Caddy dealer could not find the problem in two hours despite the check engine light. Suspension was like an old taxi after two years. I wouldn't buy another Caddy used.
A Dream to own!
These are the last of what a real car should feel, and drive like, absolutely one of the best cars I have personally owned.
