Enough Pep, Style & Great Ride & Handling!
It had been 2005 since owning a brand new car. My 2004 Lexus RX had 325k miles (and still running strong). I was determined to get a used one but my price point placed me between a 2017-2019 years. For the same amount of money and a lower APR I was able to get a brand new 2024 Envista. I had ran across an ad several months prior and the style initially attracted me. Then the more I read about it the more curious I became. Soooo...went to a dealership and drove one. I was initially surprised by its initial Pep on take off. Most reviews are good on this vehicle but a few mentioned lack of performance in speed. I'm not into racing but this vehicle has enough initial torque to get out of the way (if you need to punch it to merge onto a roadway). Then there is no more strong acceleration. The handling is fun and tight turning radius nice. Interior comfortable. Love the huge Display and I can actually read the map and other indicators. All the new technology is pretty cool. Love the ability to lay down the seats and create a larger cargo area--I do wish it would go flatter/more flush, but it works. I will drive it mostly with rear seats down since I'm often transporting feed bags for animals I got the Preferred trim. I LOVE MY ENVISTA!

Pleasant surprise.
Have had my Envista Avenir since I picked it up on August 30, 2023. It replaced my totaled HHR which I had no plans of getting rid of just yet. Couple of people have said they thought is was a new Porsche. I am having to adjust my driving style to a slower engine/trans combo. Just have to find the power band. Sure wished they had used the 155 hp from the Encore GX, but it still has some zip and I feel will fit my purpose fine. It will also be probably the last new car I buy. Still don't understand why in California I need heated rear view mirrors, but thats how it came.

Mixed Feelings
I bought this car last month which had no problems up until now. Today and yesterday my car have been cutting off in the middle of me driving almost causing me to kill myself and my entire family. Yesterday, when it cut off I was able to still either drive forward or press the break and the car would cut back on by itself. I took my car to the dealership which they said the issue was fixed once they updated my control panel system. Now today after picking my car up. It cut off again but this time I could not press the break and had to actually press the start button for it to restart which I dodged my car from going under a 18-wheeler. This is a bad experience and I am wondering if anyone else is having this issue? My car is in the shop now with hopes of the issue being corrected. Despite this issue the car has been okay overall except for fume smell coming from the vent when the AC is turned on.

New Car NO Parts!!
I purchased this beautiful car the end of May 2024. Two weeks after my purchase a rock hit my windshield causing a very bad crack horizontally across the line of view right to left. It's been 6 months of me fighting to get a new windshield. Buick dealers do not have any. Glass replacement business such as Safelite don't have any. Buick corporate seems to have no idea what's going on and pushed me back to the dealer to handle the situation. Bottom line is BUICK DOES NOT HAVE ANY REPLACMENT PARTS (WINDSHEILDS). They are not making any. Parts are on backorder and there is no estimated date of availability. I'm now working with my dealer. They may offer me a trade instead of giving my money back. Still waiting for a resolution with a cracked windshield!! I may be forced to get another more expensive car because of Buick decided to sell cars they don't have replacement parts for.
