Top Down / 2Thumbs Up Smile Inducing Head Turner
Let me save you the read. The BMW 4 Series is my new fantasy car. Even after owning one for the past 10 months. I bought mine used and have driven it nearly 20k miles and it's been as reliable as a stone ax. Mine is a 435xi (AWD) with the dual scroll turbo and 8speed transmission. Though a convertible it has a hardtop which makes it a great car here in 4 season Michigan!. In sport mode it's a bit to potent for city traffic when trying to pace the car with typical commute traffic. On back roads sport mode truly shines. it stiffens then suspension and the raises the acceleration bar leaving me feeling like a Tae Kwon Do black belt sparring in a gym full of green belts. It's fast and takes directional control in a cool comfortable manner. I've got a full winter package, top speed delete, line delete (fewer badges), and the full air intake/exhaust upgrade. Big brakes and 19" wheels connect this car to the ground and it's a corner carving beast. All while providing 30MPG at highway cruising speeds. the Harman Kardan sound system brings out the highs and thumps out the bass, top up or down. All the controls including the touch screen controls and the idrive (infotainment controls) are easy to work while underway. As a baby boomer I find this vehicle a great daily driver. It does some light duty runs to the local home building supplies store and has carried small furniture (top down furniture sticking up and out) and even has a trailer hitch that allows me to pull a motorcycle, jetski or dinghy when getting away from it all. My wife (perfers to daily drive an SUV) considers it a treat to take "the convertible". Her first day out, she returned and commented how "zippy/fast" the BMW 435 is. She now reserves her right to take it on outings with her friends, and loves when we go out for some top down cruising, especially in winter with the heated seats and heat ducted head rests.37F and feeling like it's 70F is something this convertible does very well. I do recommend changing the oil more often than the BMW recommended 15,000mile interval (I aim for 5,000-6,000 mile intervals). Yes it may be a bit overkill, but I really enjoy this car. I'd say I love it if I were able to love an inanimate object. The BMW 435 is a great car. The convertible is the one for me. With so much power, the duty cycle you put on the car in day to day driving is far below it's capability and must contribute to it's reliability and what I expect will be longevity. My 2015 is a low mile specimen with under 53,000 miles as I'm writing this. Would I recommend one to family and friends? Absolutely! I wish a few of my loved ones would buy their own...

Beautiful car, loaded with tech
The 428i Xdrive coupe is a wonder to drive. Don't be fooled by the 4 cylinder engine, these cars have plenty of pep, and can be very aggressive with the Sport+ engaged. Pay attention to packages and features. The Harmon Kardon stereo is a must. Be sure to download the BMW app, it is very convenient. Enjoy driving the Ultimate Driving Machine.

Classy car
Florida being the lightning capital, I want a hard top convertible when weather doesn't allow for the top to be down.. There aren't too many in the marketplace. BMW's other convertibles, 2 and 8 series and Z4 are all soft tops. You want 6 cylinders to power this slightly heavy car. The M package (as opposed to buying an M model outright) gives it an extra oomph and distinction. The poor man's M, if you will. The car has a beautiful line and when the top s down, it's just classy. Enjoy life, get wind in your face.

Grab one while you can 435i
My wife purchased a gently used 9k miles.2016 435i , she insisted on a 6 Cylinder, really pretty car, kind of a smoky metallic black, with bad ass factory wheels, black interior, this car is not for a fool, very powerful fun car with tons of headroom. the stereo is crisp and clean strong very impressive, even a short trip around the block is exciting to go for a ride. Better hurry the straight six turbos are being fazed out by 4 cyl models. The strength of the six we prefer, smoother interstate power. Worth a drive. After my Wife purchased the car I was jealous and I went and grabbed the 430 coupe, 4 cyl. And the 4 cyl has plenty of power, to my surprise the smaller turbo does the job well, gets out of its way, a couple of second delay if you smashed the gas, but soon you forget about the delay and now your trying to slow down. Not an animal like the six, but what seems to be a calmer experience with the 4 cyl. Kinda more of a daily driver. The balanced platform of the 4 series is the cars best feature, stable, forgiving, a real road car. The M4 makes me curious, and I was told the M2 is the best out there, so now the family of the BMW’s 435-430 Will continue to be our go to cars until my lease is up in a year stay turned
