The new 3- series the E90
The new 3-series is a technological marvel. The styling may be a little questionable, but the car is supurb. Underneath the new sheet metal is a whole new driving dimension that enables the E90 to surpass the e46. The new inline six rev's smoothly-as any BMW should. The six speed manual seems to be a little faster, and that shows in the faster 0-60 times. The new 3.0 liter six helps out as well, with 255 horses.
330i - The best car I've ever owned
I bought the 330i 6 spd manual with Sports package and navigation in January. This is my first BMW and I'm hooked. It's by far the best car I've ever owned in all aspects. Nothing was sacrificed to give perfect balance of performance and luxury. Plenty of HP and torque without the 335's twin turbos. 35 mpg on interstate and 22- 26 mpg city (depending on how you drive) I've put 20k miles in 8 months without any problems. There weren't run-flat tires on it when I bought it and I kept it that way. More comfortable ride without them. This is a must buy. Navigation is a little dated but was very detailed and only had issues not finding one location. Find a manual and DRIVE.

Update: Still looks great, performes well, but ?
A year and a half after the review below, most still holds true. My frustration with run-flat tires finally gave way to buying a good set of (NON run-flat) tires which eliminated the complaints below. And, it drives much better. Non-run-flat tires are also readily available. Now to keep the faith that my AAA membership will come to the rescue should I have a flat. (PREVIOUS REVIEW) When it come to repairs, tires, and maintenance, it will cost you a bundle. However, if you want a ride that looks great at 10 years old, gets unexpectedly good mileage on the highway, drives well in the curves, and is nicely appointed, you'll like it. You need to have confidence in your dealer and repair shop because you will see them way too often. Also, the run-flat tires are noisy, wear out quickly, and are rough riding. It's too much of a price to pay for not having a spare tire. If you fancy yourself a BMW driver, you'll love this car. If it's for tooling around town, get something else. It is a highway (autobahn) car!

Awesome Car!!!
I recently sold my 2000 BMW 323i and ordered a 2006 330i. I was without a car for 4 weeks but it was truly worth it!! When it arrived I was so happy I had tears of joy driving it off the lot. I just LOVE it and it is so much fun to drive!!! I got the silver with the sports package and the premium package along with the Sirius Radio. This car is definitely worth the money. BEST 3 EVER!
BMW 330i
Fantastic car and really meets the adage that it is a drivers car. It is a pleasure to drive and handles extremely well. BMW must improve their Navigation system and the iDrive interface is not user friendly even after 9 months of using daily.
