Solid, Stable, Speedy Acceleration
This is a fun car to drive. Super stable and solid, hugs the roads, curves, and hills. Great braking system. If I weren't relocating, and had a garage to store it, I'd keep it forever...... It's not fuel efficient like contemporary BMWs. Like most convertibles, it's not a quiet ride, nor is this a luxury vehicle, if that's what you're looking for. But, if you like to drive " standard"....like me, it's got pizzaz and ummpff..... This is a sports coupe, well-proportioned, small & efficiently designed. I call it "volvoesque." It seats 4, not 2! Its convertible roof is fast and sound. Seats are beautifully leather crafted, but space in rear seats is tight. If you're over 5'10," forget a full seat in the back. Pretend you're a Roman at a dining table, recline, and stretch your legs. My only complaint is a silly (plastic/vinyl ?) cover that dealers put over the center console. It wears off. I serviced my car at Braman BMW where service was outstanding and trustworthy, and when service contract ended, I found an equally excellent mechanic. My car has gotten lots of TLC. It's rewarded me back. The only other car I'd probably be tempted to get would be an Aston Martin. I love my beamer!

BMW says do not put groceries in your trunk!!!
Whatever you do, do not put groceries in the trunk. I have found out the hard way. BMW has had issues with people putting items that may leak in the trunk and shorting out the car. My car is in the shop with such issues (or so they say). BMW customer service told me today that you should not put groceries or anything of such in your trunk. Why was I not told this when I bought the car.

Think hard before you buy
I bought a 1 series a few months ago. Very unhappy with Jackie Cooper BMW in Edmond OK. Poor service after the sale. It is like they forget you exist. Also financed through BMW Financial and they have a horrible website. Being unhappy with the car I considered trading and it lost $10,000 in a few months. It is still like new and a 2011 model and still lost $10,000. CRAZY! I will never buy another BMW.
LOVE my new Bimmer!
I picked up my car less than a week ago, and I can't stop smiling! I ordered the car in Crimson red, with light beige interior, high gloss black trim, and a black convertible top. This is my 4th BMW, and it is the most fun to drive of any car I've ever had.
Perfect 3 Season Car
Great driving car. Best used as a 2 seater but having the rear seats is a huge plus when needed. Surprisingly roomy trunk, with plenty of room for a week away from home. Plenty of power in the 135i with sport mode engaged. Easy to drive and efficient in drive mode. Paddle shifters with the DCT are a huge plus too. The ride is a little rough with the M sport package but the vehicle handles like it's on rails. Convertible top has efficient operation, you can raise and lower at a red light. Overall I am very happy with my 2011 135i and would recommend the vehicle to anyone looking for a sports car with a touch of luxury and practicality.
