Used 2003 Audi allroad quattro Consumer Reviews
Awesome with some minor adjustments
Great car that I love to go to work in. The 1.2hr commute each way is a breeze. Don't like the lag but I have to adjust to it as I did on the ML. Wipers were misaligned. Got that fixed. Noisy and squeeshy brakes - don't like. With bike rack fairing, the buffet-thumpning wind at 45 with open sunroof stopped. No more problems there. OEM tires feathered out at 8500m. Rotated and will need to replace soon already. Stupid accel/resume button for cruise control.
all roads 'Start" from here.
Nothing beter for taking our long awaited vacation to MN's 'North Shore' It is a magical place for its beatyful color vistas, Nice roads compred from last year should make thi one the bes ever,,no small thanks to our allroad and the many features that make a long roadtrip not only bearable but downright exceptional
very dissapointing
turbo lag is huge
Car gets lost in comparison
I am a wagon fan. We used to drive Volvos, but shifted to Audis after numerous test drives. The Audi Allroad is the most complete car we have had. Great interior and exterior, great sound system, fun engine, great versatility because of the pneumatics that allow you to increase clearance at the touch of a button, the only downside is very average gas mileage and some parts problems from third- parties. Having had both, there is no comparison between this car and the VolvoXC70 (which is a great car) - the Allroad is just better -- more fun, more capable. If I had to have only one car (and didn't need a third row of seats) this would be it.
Better than PORSCHE Cayenne S
The allroad offers more amenities for the money, incl. air suspension, rear seat heaters and OnStar, which is extra on the Cayenne S and standard only on the Cayenne Turbo (actually OnStar not available at all). Also the allroad's on pavement handling is better and smoother then any of the two Cayennes. They do feel more like trucks. The interior in the allroad also appears to be more understated and elegant. Needless to say the AUDI materials are real, vs the Cayenne's painted plastic.
