great car
Was looking for an A4 or 325. here's what i found with 2 similarly equipped cars (both with sport pkg, prem pkg, auto, xenon): -BMW WINS: 1. BMW inline 6 2. power seats w/ memory. no excuse for this not being available on the 1.8T. -AUDI WINS: 1.styling (this is close). 2.interior. we got a dolphin gray exterior and a "platinum" interior. Beautiful. 3. various features...in-dash 6-CD changer, standard. dual-zone climate control. 4. Price. (diff of $3000) 5. 4-yr free maintenance. however, BMW has matched this for their 2003 models
A4
Before I made my purchase, I was deciding between the A4-3.0, BMW-330i, Acura TL-S, Mercedes Benz C320, and the Infiniti-G35. I must admit, for the price range, I could get the G35 and spank every other car on this comparison list. BUT, I went with the A4 because it was well rounded. Acceleration was under 7 seconds, has AWD Quattro, I love the interior, Dolphin Gray is a great color, double exhaust, and class. Something about spending 38k on an Infiniti just doesn't feel right.

New A4
This car is better than the predecessor. My friend had the old A4, it was an awesome car to begin with. But now its his turn to be jealous of mine. More power, classier and sportier interior, understated elegance all-around. Although a little bit more zip would be nice like the all-famous inline-6. But otherwise, this is really a perfect car for a perfect customer who doesn't want to splurge 50k on a C320 and still get build quality that is on par if not better.
Great Car
The new A4 3.0 is outstanding. Fun to drive and great styling. The CVT is quick and smooth. Highly recommend a test drive. In the class, I can't imagine a better car for the money.
IMPRESSIVE
Since the A4's introduction to the US I have wanted one and now I do. The new body style is aggressive and masculine which is indicative of its power. The 1.8T is phenominal in its pickup speed and at times I feel as if I am in the Daytona 500, well maybe not to that extent but you get my drift. I did test drive the 02 Passat and Jetta in order to make a wise choice that the A4 was for me. The Passat did not even have a chance. The sporty feel and tight steering were not there and the A4 had it all. The Jetta was a strong contender with the A4, however, the A4 won me over with its robust exterior and the luxurious interior.
