2023 Hyundai Santa Fe
Great SUV for those who want something more than a Honda CRV but don't want the size of the Pilot. While the Honda Passport competes with the Santa Fe, the warranty, safety features, and luxury features just can't compete with Hyundai. For those loyal to Honda, you should consider a Hyundai or Kia product. Love my Santa Fe and I can't believe the power of the vehicle and it runs on 87 … octane fuel. Great features like the blind view monitoring, remote parking assist, and premium suede headliner, 3 years of maintenance, and great 5/60 bumper to bumper warranty are nothing to sneeze at.
UPDATE: December 2022: I sold my 22 Santa Fe Calligraphy FWD because I wanted the AWD version for smoother performance, and I like the AWD version even more than the 22 FWD version I bought at the end of April this year. The gas mileage is about 1 MPG less in the AWD version and the performance is much smoother as this SUV has a lot of torque and moves very quickly on the highway in terms of its lateral acceleration. You can go from 65 MPH to 85 MPH very quickly. Also, it runs on regular 87 octane fuel and my last three all highway driving has gotten me an average MPG of 30.3, 30.2 and 29.8 all running off regular 87 fuel my Costco. This is better than the EPA estimates on the Monroney label and it's all highway mileage but that is still very good for a non-hybrid, mid-size SUV. I encourage anyone considering a Honda Passport or Hyundai Sorento to consider the Santa Fe Calligraphy AWD. Great vehicle and it has all the safety features and creature comforts in the top trim level.
