Very tight inside, in fact it is close to being uncomfortable. Because of the high
revving engine and convertible top, this car is very loud inside. The car is fun
to drive on curvy roads but you have to keep the rpms high to enjoy the vtec
engine. This car is quick, but does not feel like it due to the lack of torque on
this vehicle. Quality is typical honda, so no disappointment there.
Overall the car is great. However, you
got to watch out for the transmission.
Not built for the power of the car.
Lots of recalls on the transmission,
and Honda is not supportive of issues
with the transmission because of the
numerous problems with it. Other than
that, it drives great, looks great!
Handling is great! The car is great for
a hot day with the top down.
Better service from American Honda and
a real tranmission would do this car
alot of justice.
only for the sadist on anything longer than a 15 minute trip
no heated mirrors
no concept of sound deadening (don't try more than 35 with a cell phone even with top up)
Quick if revved right/dog if not (153 ft lb of torque even though 240 horse)
Ever wonder why you see so many of these advertized used even though only 5000 of these made per year?
Turfed this one out for vette, lost my shorts on it but my best descision with this car was cutting it loose.
More torque please.
get a real radio
sound deadening materials
rear window and defroster
car has no trunk, get rid of spare tire and use run flat tires like on vette
on second thought scrap it all together
Look at the Vette
When I got in the cockpit I first got a
positive impression of the car, but
given time, other things came to my
attention. The Car's performance would
satisfy me if the price was around
$25,000 because let's face it: 240
horses isn't extreme power by anybody's
standards. I was dissappointed by the
car's lack of power more than anything,
although other aspects of performance
RWD and manual trans. is a good start.
Lack of torque (153 is absolutely
pathetic) $36,000 will buy a Cobra,
which has all the same features. There
is really no reason to spend your money
on this. Learn from my mistakes.
