2023 Chevrolet Tahoe
I wanted a big SUV, but not a bus, so the Tahoe was compared to the Expedition, with the Tahoe being chosen for ride quality and features. My wife and I live in the Appalachians, so we had to have four, or all-wheel drive and the Tahoe has selective four wheel drive that is switchable at speed (they say). We drove it in town and on the highway while doing our test drive and have not … owned a quieter vehicle. This one had all the features we wanted and more, so we did not bother to drive an Expedition. The Edmunds reviewer stated that the seats were not comfortable but we found them to be nice and comfortable. And heated! We drove it on a short trip out of town and I found it to be very nice in all respects.
We use our SUV as a transport for our dogs to the vet and the seats all fold electrically, so that is very convenient. We have left the third row folded and placed blankets in the rear area for them to lay on and they have lots of room. There is plenty of leg room in the second row for the occasional passenger we may have with us. We are retired and our kids are out on their own, so we, and our Boxers find the Tahoe to be exactly what we wanted, moving up from a Toyota 4Runner. Night and Day.
This Tahoe has the large sun roof, 360 camera, Bose sound system, power everything, super smooth and quiet ride and space. We hope the reliability proves to be satisfactory in the long run, because we will probably own this until the 12th of never.
