TORRANCE, California — The carryover 2014 Honda Crosstour starts at $28,210, including an $830 destination charge, reflecting a $150 premium over the outgoing 2013 model.

The top-of-the-line 2014 Honda Crosstour 4WD EX-L V6 Navi starts at $38,070, including shipping.

The 2014 Crosstour is on sale now. American Honda announced Crosstour pricing on Wednesday.

Pricing for the base 2013 Crosstour starts at $28,060, including an $830 destination charge.

The Crosstour is available in two front-wheel-drive trim options, EX and EX-L, and is powered by either a 192-horsepower four-cylinder engine or a 278-hp V6 engine.

The 2014 Crosstour undercuts its chief Japanese competitor, the 2014 Toyota Venza. The base 2014 Toyota Venza LE starts at $29,205, including an $860 destination charge.

Another Crosstour competitor, the 2014 Volvo XC70, starts at $35,415, including a $915 destination charge.

However, the 2014 Subaru Outback undercuts the 2014 Crosstour. The 2014 Outback starts at $24,320 including an $825 destination charge.

Edmunds says: The Honda Crosstour slots in nicely between much of the competition when it comes to 2014 pricing.
