Make sure that the selling representative covers all technology with you; make sure you understand the difference between a Japanese auto maker vs a European automaker. The differences are very evident.

I have had an 2009 S80 since 2010 and when I saw the new S90 it immediately jumped on my radar. I was forced to purchase a new care last year and I am telling you, this care is great. The look is amazing. I get complimented every other day. The ride is a bit heavy but I am not trying to race anyone. The Bluetooth/Apple Car play sometimes act up when I plug my phone up. There are small things that have happened but nothing worth noting. It is great on gas IF prices were not so high it would be amazing. Navigation is quirky. I am really happy with this car.

Living up to the Volvo rep! Still impressed!

Likes- i leased and then bought. now at 60,000 miles. It is a shame they discontinued this model. Well engineered! [i have driven updated models as loaners]. I do the Volvo maintenance, but changed dealership because orginal dealers were crooks and know-nothings about their cars. Be warned! (I did complaint directly to Volvo USA, but they didn’t give a $h#!). It is expensive, but Volvo parts are very reliable. -More getup and go than the gas/hybid Volvos models. Better power!. -about the car 60,000+ miles and still no major repairs- original brakes, shocks, exhaust, even though I use mostly regular gas.but still getting 27 miles/gallon (combined). Incredible for its size! I changed wipers 2x. - Just changed ‘starter battery” [$600 ouch!], but all orginal batteries have lasted 7 years. That’s why I bought Volvo replacement. -still a luxury ride! -LOVE THE AUTOPILOT! It is the next best thing to driving a Tesla. [which will be my next car when this Volvo wears out, but I’ll miss the lux interior]. Dislikes- Nav system stinks! Setting it is a pain. Voice commands are always 100% wrong! Needs serious update (newer Google system is better). Now I mostly relay on Waze via Apple Car Play. PS Seris Radio -Hate that Volvo charges an arm & leg for app connectivity! ($200 a year). -this model’s tires always are sidewall bulging and need to be replaced, bought over 5-6 tires over life of car. However, when they don’t bubble, they do last a at least 45,000+ miles until replacement is needed.
