Used 2017 Volvo S60 Consumer Reviews
A Beautifully Well-Rounded Sedan
I bought the 2017 T5 Inscription AWD and I’ve owned it for 3 years now. It’s been a pleasure to drive throughout college and commuting to work in the city. I have 89,000 miles on it currently, and I have not had any issues besides the usual maintenance, which can be pretty pricey. I love the Polestar optimization software that I added at the dealership, which is definitely worth the $$ and I have truly seen great improvements in accelerating quickly. It is a surprisingly quick car! While an unpopular opinion, I think this car is attractive and its design is incredibly sleek & elegant. The leather seats are comfortable for small road trips and the heated leather seats kick in with no delay. INCREDIBLY DISAPPOINTED I do not have a heated steering wheel in this car. The technology is pretty archaic, but the blind spot lights are SO helpful. They sometimes glitch in rainy weather though & go off randomly… Trunk space is minimal, but it has worked for me. Cabin storage space is also severely lacking, I can never find a spot for my phone. I’m not sure what the gas mileage is advertised as, but I average around 21-23 mpg. Do I drive it a bit aggressively? Sure, but never recklessly. It is a bit of a gas guzzler. I love this car. It is a reassuringly reliable car assuming you do maintenance every 10-15K miles, but maintenance & gas are quite expensive. It is a great, safe car that I’ve had the pleasure of owning.

So many reasons to avoid Volvo
Too bad, used to be incredible vehicles, up to the early 2000. I purchased a 2017 s60 inscription, nice ride, good power and very comfy, good gas mileage, at 42 000 miles the A/C fan died, $3 500 and about a month and a half wait for repair, due to the fact that there is only 1 dealership in Milwaukee??? I ended up driving to the closest Illinois Volvo dealer, 1 1/2 hour away, the next day, they provided a loaner, 2 days later, $3 000, 3 hours drive round trip the car was back home. 5 days later engine warning something display, repeat previous procedure with only 4 weeks to wait this time (at my local dealer), so back to Illinois, this time it was only $2 000 . To recap: 4 days to drive back and forth, $5 000 in repairs does not make any sense, I got rid of it 3 days later. Volvo is now owned by Zhejiang Geely of China, the quality is gone, doesn't make sense.
