Used 2004 Volvo S60 Consumer Reviews
bold & strong
car feels strong, very quuiet --low road noise, the backside of the front seats is cut in to allow slightly more leg room in the back, car can be loaded with safety features. I enjoy the "W" (wet drive) function, STC (stability control). Just wish car was standard with all wheel drive.
I thought this was a volvo
Nice exterior styling and sleek interior, though the back seat is a little crampled. 5 speed very responsive and quick. Sound system good though not as good as Japanese models I've owned. Three significant events in first week of ownership; fuel line coupling broke rendering the car inoperable, Volvo would only tow the car 25 miles free (dealership was 31 from my location, right rear shock absorber squeeks loudly. Might consider another car next time.

Great performance, low mileage
I love to drive this car. I went from a Honda S2000 to the Volvo and feel I have lost nothing in performance. The fun level has obviously decreased, but with a new baby daughter, the Honda was impractical.
Fun, Fun, Fast and Furious
I took delivery through the military sales program. What a major discount! Certainly makes it worthwhile. A four door M3 there is not, this has four doors, family safety, and performance approaching and M3 or the much less reliable Audi S4. It certainly is a blast to drive, and handles very well. I didn't get an appreciation for the "vague, if video game like" steering that some "high performance" reviews have stated. This car is a great value for the money, even if the engine doesn't put out the horsepower thats advertised.
performance and safety
best of both worlds . there is the safety factor with having kids. then there is perfomance factor that i still long for
