Dealer Review:
I leased a car from Bayridge Honda one day before the shut down in 2020, so had to make quick decisions and relied much on their recommendations, it ended up costing me TWO additional lease payments: When signing the documents, they recommended to me to sign up with Uptempo and by paying half payments every other week instead of full payments monthly, I would save the last lease payment. None of this is true, they failed to disclose that paying every other week is NOT paying twice per month, in fact, I ended up making the equivalent of 13 monthly payments instead of 12 every year of my lease and all that without receiving any benefit. I still had to pay the last lease payments anyway. When I called my salesperson Elizabeth Polanco and Asad who worked through the lease papers with me, nobody took ownership or responsibility for this mess. They questioned my math and skirted responsibility and after I shared all documentation with them (which they should have had in their files) they simply didn't return any calls or emails. Even though they deny this, I'm sure that Uptempo is paying them some kind of kick-back to push this service on people that don't understand the math or who (like me) are too rushed to check it beforehand. I cannot believe how management let's their sales and contracting people profit from charging the customer unnecessary services. Avoid this dealer at all costs, there are better and more ethical options out there.
