2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback
I bought my 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback as a CPO. It had 10,000 miles on it when I bought it. I’ve had it a couple weeks and couldn’t be happier. It’s honestly hard to find things to complain about but I have a few.
CONS:
- It’s small. It’s a perfect size for a single person or a couple but I wouldn’t want to squeeze children in the back seat. It’s cramped and there’s not a lot of … cargo area. It’s a small hatchback though so I expect that.
- The infotainment leaves much to be desired. It’s a good size screen and it does offer Apple CarPlay, which is great, but the other features are pretty useless. The screen can be slow to respond when not using Apple CarPlay and the screen isn’t the best resolution but it gets the job done for sure.
- There’s absolutely no storage. No little pockets or places to really put your phone or sunglasses. You have a little spot in front of the shifter and a couple door pockets but that’s it.
While there’s a couple negatives, there’s positives as well.
PROS:
- Quick, nimble, fun to drive. Even with the CVT (which I was worried about) it’s always in the right ratio and giving you the most power. The paddle shifters work great and simulating gears. The steering feel isn’t the best but it does a decent job at providing you feed back of what’s happening with the tires. Suspension is great if a little shaking over rough cracked roads but extremely comfortable.
- The headlights are super bright. The automatic high beams are awesome for back roads. You never have to worry about blinding someone. The taillights are awesome looking and really give a distinct look to the rear end.
- The safety tech works great. Lane keeping, lane centering, radar cruise. It basically drives itself on the highway. Very helpful for traffic as well.
Overall, I’m extremely happy with my purchase. Definitely make sure it’s the right size for you and your family and look at the screen and really use it if that’s important to you. Extremely great value, especially if you can find one CPO.
