2015 Ford Focus ST
I sold the car for salvage for less than $1,400 after Bergey's Ford of Lansdale swindled me for about $2,400 for turbo replacement. The turbo had leaked coolant into the engine causing the car to overheat and (I found out LATER) caused the block to deform. I asked Bergey's service department to minimize repair costs due to the high mileage of the car. They recommended replacing the turbo … for $2,400.
Next Bergey's Ford of Lansdale told me that repair did not solve the problem -- the car needed a new engine for an ADDITIONAL $7,000. Had Bergey's Ford of Lansdale told me that in the beginning I would have cut my losses at the point. The car's value at that point was less than the $9,400 total cost of actually repairing it.
I STRONGLY suggest AVOID having Ford service done at Bergey's Ford of Lansdale.
