2020 Chrysler Pacifica
After numerous problems with the cruise control we went back to the dealership. They sent me on the road to see if the problem could be reproduced. The tech directed me to hill representative of the ones we were having problems with. At 40 mph and going downhill, the vehicle rmp advanced to over 3k finally went into free fall. At 55 mph, the tech said "go ahead and put the break on; it … shouldn't be doing this!" Well later in the day, a call from the dealership said that the car was performing as engineered and there was no fix available. This has been an issue for the past several. Years with their 9 speed transmission. " Nearly 40 k for a car with a cruise control inferior to my 17 year old F 150! So many features to love in this vehicle but I consider this a safety issue that precludes me from recommending this car from any one I care about. Also, I completed a review from Chrysler regarding my purchase and never heard back from them. Wish I could recommend this car but I just can't.
