2015 Chevrolet Trax
I’m 28 years old and I’ve owned three Chevys throughout the years. This one is beyond the least reliable. Under 50,000 started having issues. Now 75,000 and I’ve dumped over $4,000 in repairs into my 2015 Chevrolet Trax LTZ AWD. And not regular maintenance either. It’s been 4 years... exhaust leaks, constant replacing of belts/gaskets, leaks “everywhere” according to any shop I … visit for an oil change, valve cover replaced, and so so so much more. I have paranoia when it’s time to look through service records again. Air conditioning issues. Problems with acceleration. Electrical issues. Check engine light comes on and off every other month. Bluetooth doesn’t connect automatically. The back license plate light has literally fallen out and dangled from the wires (despite our efforts to put it back in) while we waited for the dealership to order another so it could be fixed. The auto-adjust for interior dash lights and the infotainment screen doesn’t work well when the sun is rising or setting. The stabilizer light keeps staying on after ignition. My transmission is leaking...somewhere... The best part about this vehicle is it’s ability to glide right through 2 feet of snow up here in Minnesota. But seriously, I’m afraid EVERY time I need to go in for an oil change because all I hear from various service shops is how I need to replace or fix an ongoing list of parts. They are often baffled after looking at my mileage again, and suggest I should probably have extensive work done or advise I get rid of the vehicle “quickly...”
