Used 2018 Toyota Yaris Consumer Reviews
reliable car with good fuel efficiency
I bought a 2 year old certified 2013 Yaris L (hatchback) with 25k miles and used it for 3 and half years (67k miles). 4 Adults can sit comfortably. Engine makes huge noise when ever driven over 75 miles per hour. It can carry very less cargo and does not have enough power to accelerate. Fuel efficiency is 34-35 on highway and 29-30 in city. Very less maintenance. Infact I only had to change the tires and brakes and rotors (rear drum brakes) for this. I drove it in Michigan winters and snow with both all-season and winter tires and did not see much of a difference. In snow, it does skid quite a bit, remember it is not a 4 wheel drive. Trim level L comes with non-power windows, no cruise control, no remote start, bluetooth. Reliability and value are top notch. Performance is not so great.

Little city sprinter!
I went from a '95 Infiniti j30t to a '15 Yaris. Two totally different creatures, both loveable in different ways. The second I test drove this car I fell in love with the nimble short city sprints, easy hairpin turns and fun compactness. The yaris has a sporty suspension that keeps you engaged with the road, and helps to handle rougher roads without bumping the front or rear ends on heavy dips. The factory Toyota sound system and speakers are great, giving a truly premium experience without charging extra. I was very happy with the easy to navigate infotainment system, which always connected quickly to my devices. Can't overstate the handiness of the knobs/buttons for all the controls too, for simplicity of use in traffic. I was always able to fit tons of stuff in the cargo area, with or without seats down. Not quite as spacious as the honda fit, but suitable for most cargo! Was able to handle 4 people's luggage on a long road trip no problem. Saved a ton of gas as well! While the tank was very small and needed to be filled often, I would still get great mileage! Main complaints are the lack of center armrest console, and extreme difficulty getting up to freeway speeds/ going up hills. For sure, its best life is lived in the city where it can fit into any parking spot, handle quick sprints and hard stops, and find a quick gas station in a pinch. Would have been happy with the yaris forever if my commute didn't change to a freeway route.

Deer slayer
Great beater car. Bought it for work use because of the awesome fuel milage. Small but tough. I run 25 miles each way on country roads and have hit a racoon, a coyote, couple of rabbits, a cat and 2 deer. The first one was a lite tap and I lost the hood emblem. The second one did her in but after 206,000 miles and 0 mechanic bills she was a great friend to me. The deer lost but my Yaris was totaled too. I won because I was not injured. I had always worried about hitting a deer and having it in my front seat but it bounced off. Mine consistently got over 40 mpg, AC worked great, radio was fine, very comfortable, handled great, heated up quick and I used it for what it was, a work car. Hatchback model was like having a mini-truck. Parking was a snap because of the size. Highly recommend this car. Took the insurance money and some of mine and bought another one. This car would have ran for over 300,000 miles. I'm a Ford man but for practicality the Yaris is the best. Can't believe they've been discontinued. If you're looking for luxury, keep looking but if you're thrifty just do it. 425 miles on a tank of gas.

2015 Yaris LE
The turning radius is worse that the older 2008 modle and the took away all the cupholders that were on the side on the font dash. And i live on a road with a bad hill thats dirt and gravel and one night me and my mom tried the hill and it was snowing and we couldnt get up the hill because the car shut itself off because once you hit the max for your power the car shuts itself off completly and we could have gotten in a bad accident because of it. The good i like how it handles without snow and i like the touchacreen and hands free calling thats pretty cool. Oh almost forgot im a pretty tall guy i cant see out the rearview mirror because it was made what i think for short people and i have to turn the mirror all the way up and flip it up on that just to see out the back with it. Its just not my favourite car not even close.
