The Age of the Sequoia
This is one magnificent vehicle to own! The interior is comfortable and large, the overall size of this monster is magnificent, and it hold 8 most comfortably. This is one fine vehicle for the price, and has the Toyota quality that makes it so much superior to the rest. A fine example of how a large SUV can also drive like a car and not like a truck. A smooth ride!

What a ride
We test drove Armada, Z71 Suburban, Sequoia, and Expedition.. Sequoia so superior in ride. 80 MPH it's so quite you can talk in a low voice. JBL sounds great. Tire Pressure Monitor alerted us that tire pressure was too low, and it was, by 7 pounds. Handling is like a car, easy to park. SR5 loaded up is 4-6K less than limited, with same safety features and ride.
Great ride!
The quality of the engineering design and craftsmanship is exceptional. It mirrors the Lexus line of automobiles in these categories. It's smooth exterior lines do get noticed and exude a classiness not shared by other SUV's. The only minor drawback may be the low bhp of this year's model, which has been upgraded for the 2005's. Although, I have never required more power than the existing drivetrain has been able to provide. The ride is as smooth as silk and again shows its Lexus connection. I cannot say enough of how impressed I am with this vehicle.
SR5 issues
I ALWAYS wanted one, so I took the plunge. So far, the car has been a disappointment, but only due to small problems. These issues have included interior leather defects, headliner replacement, some minor body damage noticed at purchase, and a popping noise resulting from servos that "click" on at 25-30 mph which activate the VDSC system. This "click" sometimes feeds over into the audio system causing a "pop" in the speakers. The "click" is normal, but the "pop" is not. The dealer has been great with customer service and has always provided me with a vehicle while the Sequoia is in the shop. Evidently, the '05s & '06s have had more complaints about "weird" noises than any year model.
