great vehicle
comfort, handle, style, fuel efficient for size, extremely comfortable vehicle. we took this vehicle on a 18 hour drive to disney world and it is absolutely wonderful. other large sport utility vehicles don't compare. the expedition, navigator, yukon, hummer, cadillac, all fall a distant 2nd to the overall value, ride, and dependability. if you have the opportunity to get one get it.
Good Value
I purchased my 2001 Sequoia in Feb 2001 and currently have just over 127k miles. During my ownership i have never had any mechanical problems (thank God) and have had only a few cosmetic issues( had to replace a/c adjustment knob, rear hatch door latch, driver's side seat adj knob, and currently rear window not working/not sure if i will fix)Overall, it has been very reliable vehicle and still attracts plenty looks and complimentary comments to this day(20 in. chrome rims/ silver vehicle). Getting ready to invest a lil money in areas that are beginning to show some wear(exterior window moulding & seats .

3 Toyota’s sequoia running landcruiser bye bye
Wow I loved my 2000 lamdcruiser but the heat in drivers side was poor, and repaired holes in frame. Great ride but the sequoia has 238,000 miles and runs great, love the extra thingy telling me avg mpg , how many miles left till needing to gas up, very roomy comfy and decent mileage for size and v8 engine. I L0ve it

Think of what this car/truck is
Sequioas have had some A/C compressor issues, Tranny issues, iterior issues. All of which have come and gone. I just wanted to say that the VSC kicking in when pulling out in traffic when one of the rear wheels slips a little bit is the biggest complaint. It can't be turned off without being in 4WD The Gas Mileage: 16.5 average city/hwy Brakes: 3mm left after 54k miles so about 25% left. Also what no one has said that I can find is that it really excels in 4wd on windy gravel roads - that is when the vsc really does help - and it is a WHOLE lot of fun. I could not go half that speed with my miata without spinning out.
