Good, but…..
Bought the car to save gas. I drive a lot of miles daily to work. Starting out the MPG was amazing. About 42-43 combined City and Highway. Smooth ride all around. Roomy interior, comfortable ride for driver and passenger. Had some issues with warning lights coming and staying on. Was told by Toyota I put the car in drive before starting it. Didn’t know you could do it, but ok. It’s not like I have been driving for 30 years. Got to 8,000 miles on the car and the MPG is declining. Now my hybrid gets between 28-34 MPG. I took it to Toyota. Well, unless they do additional testing they can’t say what’s wrong. Also the front impact warning and lane assist will not work when it’s freezing outside. The car has to warm up and that might take about 15 minutes for both features to work. Toyota says nothing they can do. And AWD. The car has the feature, but only runs in AWD when in electric driving 25 mph or less. There is a button you can push circling a parking lot in EV. Not sure if I would by again.

A nice all around crossover but quite noisy
Recently traded in our Highlander for a 2022 RAV4 Limited Hybrid to take advantage of the high value the HL retained, plus to secure better MPG. Pros: The higher MPG, seeng 40 on secondary roads High build quality A lot of features LED headlights. Excellent at night. A power passenger seat. Its about time Toyota. $47k spent on former HL and you couldn’t lower the seat. Great sight lines. Limited blind spots. Sprightly acceleration Firm, but comfortable seats Cons: Noise, noise and more noise. Engine sounds almost agricultural. This could be a deal breaker for many. Toyota safety technology. Annoying as …. Quickly turned all but BSM off. No convenient coin holder. Was used to the one in the HL.

So far, I enjoy it...but lack of lumbar support
Love the gas savings and the vehicle is overall comfortable. The seats though, don't have enough lumbar support.

Sporty Red Rav
We traded a 2016 RAV4 hybrid when used car prices went through the roof. 16 hybrid was a great vehicle. The new RAV4 is the XLE Premium. It is amazing how much more refined the 2022 model has become. Handling seems much more responsive and the acceleration is so much smoother. Toyota has made a dramatic improvement in the CTV transmission. Gas mileage is as advertised. The XLE Premium has the upgraded seats. We were also impressed by the upgraded driver safety features. A versatile and fun car to drive. 40 plus miles to a gallon is a great benefit. Job well done Toyota.
