Used 2005 Toyota Highlander Fwd 4dr SUV (2.4L 4cyl 4A) Consumer Reviews
Jud's machine
This is and has been a great vehicle. My wife loves to drive it, I seldom get a chance to drive it. The only negative I can think of (and this is a stretch) is that on the doors of our car (cloth upholstery) Toyota has put fabric right up to the glass, this material is easy soiled, If you clean the windows, if you rest your arm on the window sill, if the dog stands in the window, dust settles there also. For being a four cylinder, the car performs well, and the four wheel drive is great.
Love my Toyota
After working for another Japanese auto manufacturer for 18 years I decided on a Toyota. The Highlander 4cyl was everything I was looking for as a single mom who still wanted to look good riding my teenage daughter around with her friends and easy on my pocketbook. The fuel economy is fantastic and the power of the 4cyl has not disappointed me yet. Under the hood is not even foreign to me as everything is clearly color coded so even I can add the necessary fluids. I love the automatic shift placement up higher which gives me more room for easy placement of personal items. Love my Toyota!

Gentle Giant
I got this car as an improvement on my old sedan. I needed an SUV because my road was that bad. It is the best thing I have done ever. The car drives very smoothly and with the 4cyl engine, I get to spend less on fuel than I did on the sedan doing the same trip. Great car
Happy In Alpharetta, GA
There are 445 miles between our home in Georgia and 2nd home in Florida. That trip can take any were from 7 hours to 12 hours depending on traffic, road construction, etc...! We are so pleased with the 2002 (base model) Highlander that we bought the same model in April 2005. Our older daughter needed to replace the 10 year old car she was driving and seems very happy with the 2002 Highlander we gave her. Toyota, thank you. The Danko Family.
A Great Highlander
A real nice SUV. I just had aftermarket leather put in for <1000. Fun to drive and very comfortable on all road conditions.
