Just plain fun to drive.

I saw it and bought it without even driving it. Loved the look especially in silver. Was going to buy new Corvette but not with price insanity. Got a fully loaded 3.0 premium 2021 for 57 k. First thing you notice is how crazy fast this car is and I drive a Mustang Boss 302 which this car will blow away. Very under rated horsepower at 382. Probably over 410 and what a great transmission. Shifting in sport mode is very well programmed and is better than manual unless you are really stuck on shifting. Nothing in this car is even close to finding fault with except the stupid horn which sounds like Peewee Hermans bike horn. Interior is very nice and comfortable. I am 5-9 but will seat taller although getting in requires some flexibility. You will love how it handles on the turns, how the differential gives traction, and the speed so fun. Take a test ride and see what you are missing. Car is also a head turner. The day I drove it home was some pleasant surprise.

This car is definitely the quintessential "sports car". It is fun to drive and goes like heck. Pickup is very impressive but on city streets you have to watch it. Fit and finish is nice - no notable defects. The car definitely turns heads and this is the first time in years I have had people walking up to me in parking lots to look at the car. Dealer was good to work with and while some aren't, lots of dealers will work with you on price. I got the premium version because some of the items included are essentials in my opinion. Takes a bit to get used to the feature rich environment but the pure driving pleasure is what it is all about.

I recently purchased a 2021 Toyota GR Supra and I couldn’t be anymore pleased with every single aspect of the car!!! From regular around town driving to a thrill ride down the interstate on a road trip, Toyota hit every mark with this car!! It has great fuel consumption with normal, every day around town driving. The switch from normal mode to sport mode is like daylight and dark!! You can really feel all 386hp when you hit the sport mode! The ride is absolutely phenomenal. There’s hardly any road noise like I’ve ever experienced in other similar cars, one of the reasons I never bought one. And the car handles like a beast in either mode! The safety features on the Supra are fantastic too. The cruise modes keep you at a safe distance and the car practically drives itself. I love everything in the car from what’s under the hood to the entertainment features. I would buy this car over and over again as long as Toyota keeps making it and doesn’t downgrade any features. It can only get better from here! If you’re on the fence about getting one, hop on off the fence and into the drivers seat of the GR Supra! You won’t regret it! UPDATE: I bought my ‘21 3.0L Premium Supra in July ‘21 and wanted to give it some time to explore the car before rating. I couldn’t be more happy with my purchase! It is my everyday driver, and as long as the roads are good, it’s a great ride and is definitely a head turner everyday. I love driving the car. Below is my list of pros and cons. I’ll start with the cons first, because that list is smaller. CONS: 1. THE HORN! I HATE the horn. I don’t honk it ever since I did one time after I bought it. It’s such a WEAK horn for such an impressive sports car. 2. Storage. I sent from a 4Runner to a Supra and completely expected and embraced the change. The trunk is smaller than the average sports car, but it will fit the groceries or a carry on suitcase or a couple soft sided duffel bags. So, as long as you’re OK with it, nothing really super negative. 3. The wind noise with the windows down. If you go over 40mph and have the windows down, expect to be yelling to whoever is in the car with you. I just keep them rolled up unless I’m doing easy driving. 4. The auto thermostat sync. It doesn’t exist. And it drives me nuts. I don’t believe it’s even an option. I rode in a friends X5 and noticed we had the same gauges and he had sync for his. That’s when I realized it is an option for BMW, so not sure why it was left out here. It’s just annoying and is totally a first world problem. 5. Heated and cooled seats. I have heated, but not cooled. I believe the Premium edition should have this as a standard option, but it doesn’t. PROS: 1. The lines. This is a VERY sexy car. The lines are curvy and bold and turn heads every time I’m driving. It just has a ferocious look to it from the front and the back. And just sexy from the side. 2. The speed. This car has great speed variations and there is a very noticeable difference between normal and sport modes. Wether you’re just cruising around or want to test out the 375hp on the track, you definitely get the bang for the buck! It has incredibly smooth shifting and pick up from the start. It smooths out really nicely and just drifts around the track, or the roads. You won’t be disappointed! 3. The handling. The turning ratio is absolutely amazing. The way the car handles curves is superb. It’s very solid handling and again, you notice a difference between normal and sport mode driving. 4. Safety. The braking of this car is outstanding. The specs are true, you can from 60mph to a stop in 150ft. It’s not a hard brake either, so that makes it nice. The other safety features of the lane assist and parking assist and cruise features are great. Lane assist does get annoying sometimes because if you are driving on narrow streets, it thinks you’re out of your lane and starts trying to correct. But, you can turn it off. The safety is phenomenal in the car overall. 5. Fuel economy. The fuel economy is fantastic in the Supra! Does make a slight difference between normal and sport modes, but it’s not drastic. The fuel economy states in the specs is pretty spot on. 6. The lighting. The driving lights are fantastic. They have a great field of view and distance to them when driving those dark roads at night. I like the auto setting too because it adjust between dim and bright on its on. 7. The crossover. If Toyota doesn’t have a part you need, oh for example windshield wipers, BMW fits as well and you don’t have to wait. I went right next door to the BMW dealer and got a new full set to replace the wiper that I needed. 8. Warranty and maintenance. The standard bumper-bumper and power rains for Toyota apply to the Supra, but you can purchased an extended if you want. You get complimentary 2y or 25K maintenance as well. I’m sure I’ve missed some perks, but hopefully you see this is a fantastic car for the price and quality! You’re getting Toyota and BMW in one price tag and you can trust the car will be around for a while. The only way I’d trade mine in now, is any future significant upgrades in performance or if they fix the horn! I love my Supra and have definitely been satisfied with it as my everyday driver and also my weekend thrill seeker car. You won’t be disappointed!

If you want attention.....

... buy the yellow version. There hasn't been one day that I haven't been asked questions such as, "How much did that cost?" The engine sounds are worth the price alone. Especially in Sport. Can't speak to the handling yet. But I can tell you want I don't like. The total lack of storage in the front compartment. Even the door pockets are useless. There is no way to block off the rear trunk compartment, so anyone can see what you have back there. The electronic nannies are very active. Especially reverse park braking and lane departure. The first jams on the brakes as I try to back into my garage and the latter yanks the wheel from my hands. Do not spend $1200 on the drive assist package. Good luck finding one without it. Wait time to order one is many months. But you forget all that when you find the right road. And the 6 cylinder is one sweet engine. Now that I have driven the car for several months, the attention factor hasn't changed. I don't think I have had outing without someone wanting to know about the car, asking to take a picture, yelling at me as they drive by, etc. While the 2021 supposedly handles better, at my level of street driving the 2020 is good enough for me and I sure like the sounds it makes. Motor Trend said they were getting 27MPG on their yellow 2020, I'm getting just over 19. My only problem, not the car's fault, is I haven't been putting on many miles. I'm in my 80's and haven't been out and about as much as before COVID-19. The car does have its' quirks, such as, why the radio will shut off when I open door some times and not others and the center-mount monitor is difficult to see. After a year.... Handling is, um, a little touchy. The back end likes to step out. The electronic nannies catch it without me applying opposite lock. Can't see anything out the back. I have to back into my driveway to avoid scrapping the spoiler. ; It's not easy. Plus all the alarms go off very loudly telling me I'm about to hit my bushes.

Went on a date, went back home, thought about my new car the entire time. 10/10 would drown in debt again.
