Used 2009 Toyota Corolla 4dr Sedan (1.8L 4cyl 4A) Consumer Reviews
I will never trade or sell
My Toyota Corolla is the most reliable car I ever purchased. It is made in Japan. I have been driving 50 years.

Get rid of old gas guzzlers
This Corolla replaced 1987 Pontiac 6000. What a difference. On one tank I made 423 miles using 10.6 gallons of gas approximately 40 miles per gallon. This car was purchased based on experience from my Camry.
Economy triple plus!
I travel 300 miles to visit my son about four times a year, through mountains of NC. Best mileage is 41 mpg. Average for the trip is 40. Round town, not trips is 35 plus. Bought it new and did every recommended service. No problems ever with my check-ups.

Thinkin' this was the best for fuel
Driven the car for 7.5 months (50,000 KM-now)and I am extremely disappointed as it's not fuel efficient at all! All I have been told is...wait for engine break-in. Only made 26 mi/gal (doing 95% highway driving) in the Winter, now up to 32 mi/gal in Spring. I've complained each month about the fuel economy when taking the car in for reg. oil changes. The other items I have had continual problems with are: air leakage by your head-along windows, squealing fan belt, flat tires that will not hold patches and plugs, these are constant and ongoing. I built cars on the internet comparing/researching prior to buying...due to the miles I make. My goals were gas savings,comfort,value.. Nothing was met
Hunka Junk
This must be the only crap car Toyota ever made. I always thought Toyota was a good brand based on my friends and family experiences. It had to go back to the dealer for a week for repair the next day after purchase and it never got better. The latest was a malfunctioning ignition switch. It cost over 700 dollars to replace. I don't drive anywhere out of town because it is so unreliable even though it only has 64 thousand miles on it. It also lost value quickly unlike my previous Hondas and Subaru. The trade-in on this car is so low that I keep it, hoping nothing else will go wrong for awhile. Run don't walk from 2009 Corolla.
