I bought this car three years ago and it was a demo with 1,200. I traded in a 1998 Camry which was a great car. After driving this for one day I was realized what a mistake I had made, the road noise was atrocious. It gets great gas mileage, as high as 40 mpg on a road trip, 32 as an average, but the headlights are terrible at night on regular beam, in fact it is downright dangerous. I am in process of trading the corolla in on a Hyundai sonata, 2011. I have bought toyotas for years but since about 2007 and after, you read more bad than you do good about toyotas.

I bought my 2007 Corolla LE with over 200k miles in August 2022. I have since put 30k on the car and have driven it to hell and back-- hills, plains, freeways, highways, stop-and-go city traffic, hot midwestern summers, freezing Minnesota winters, spring downpours-- all of it! I drive it like a teenager does and she has never failed me. When the apocalypse comes, it will be cockroaches and the ninth generation Toyota Corolla. As far as I am aware and what I have experienced, this car has never needed anything besides basic maintenance. Since buying it I have only had to do tires, brakes, oil, coolant, etc. Never any pumps or struts or motors...! The Corolla is cheap to fill even with staggering gas prices, easy to maintain, parts are plentiful, and it is easy to drive and learn on. Now, it is nothing short of boring. It takes me about ten seconds to hit 60 and I struggle to go fast but that is not what this car is for. This car is the ideal candidate for a teenage driver, an elderly person who just needs to go to church, a college student trying to make it to work, or a freeway commuter. Cheap, reliable, invincible, and reputable. What more could you want? Stop expecting a sports sedan or a luxury vehicle.

I owned this car for 15 months then it was totaled in a head-on collision. I had it for approximately 15,000 miles. The car, specifically the seat belt, air bad and design, saved my life. The entire front end crumpled and both the appraiser and tow truck driver said it was the worst they had seen in months. I walked away from the crash with a few bruises. I highly recommend this car just for its safety. Great gas mileage.

Just have had my 07 Corolla LE for not quite 1 year now and the computer is going out in it. The Toyota dealer said that this is common in the Corolla's and they have them on order. Bought the car as a certified used in 08. I still love my car and Toyota will replace it. Happy with their service very much so.
