I Love My Little CarCar!

I am so in love with my Celica. I bought it new in 2002. I've put on so many miles! I drive a ridiculous amount and this car has never let me down - including the time I drove it home 85 MILES after being rear-ended - the exhaust pipe was COMPLETELY bent in on itself and the car made it home like a trooper! This car corners like it's on rails and has the most awesome breaks ever. It stops on a dime and gives you 9 cents back! It is a sporty car so you definitely feel every bump on the road, but let me tell you, this car makes you ONE with the road! This car is so responsive! I love it!

Bought it 6 yrs old with 40,000 miles, Toyota certified used. Has been totally reliable, and I get 35-37 mpg, driving mostly highway miles. I love the handling and steering - it feels very nimble, light and capable. The styling is unique and my Celica gets lots of looks and comments. Adequate power, firm but comfortable ride. Really everything you expect from a sports hatchback.

This car is georgous... although its been around for 3 yrs now, the body is still beautiful!! It looks fast, drives fast (especially around the corners) and still get looks from other drivers. GT base engine is surprisingly fast, even with an automatic!!!

Exotic Looking Economy Car

Hello fellow car enthusiasts and I hope you are having a great day. My celica was one of the first to be made and I have had no maintainance problems. The car gets 36 MPG on the highway and handles very well. Calty Design Studios did a fantastic job on the styling. What we have here is an exotic looking car for the masses. There are two weaknesses. 1. The interior surfaces are hard plastic and scratch easily. 2. The paint is thin and chips easily.

My 2002 Toyota Celica gts hatchback has been extremely reliable and I have bought celicas since 1977. I am sad to say I will not be buying any more toyotas because they delayed so long in telling people about the accelerator problems. As a matter of principal, this is my last toyota.
