Purchased the coupe after trading in a 2006 Honda CR-V. What a difference! The ride, handling, quiet (even with the sunroof open). I am in love with this car!

2008 was the last year for a two door car from Toyota. I owned two and am finally trading mine in for an Avalon. I love the Solara and would buy one again if there was one! Sporty, nice ride, mine had everything. Someone will get a super used car. BRING THESE GREAT CARS BACK TOYOTA!

I am a 54 year old male and have owned many cars of just about every make out there. I bought a black 2004 Solara SE Coupe with 83,000km on it back in 2011. I now have 270,000 miles on this car and it runs just like the day I bought it. I have had zero issues with this car other than routine maintenance. Engine and transmission are strong and smooth. However, I hit a deer this week and it crushed the front end up pretty bad. Waiting now to see if insurance will cover the damage or total loss it. If it is repairable, I will be driving it, hopefully for years to come. If it's not, then I will probably look for a newer model with low miles. I gave it 5 stars across the board except for technology , and that is simply because some of the newer technology wasn't available in 2004. I absolutely love this Solara. Update 6/21/21 - I've owned the 2006 solara for aboit a year now. Bought with 172km on it, now have 206km.... No issues.... Great car.... Update - 6/22/22... 2006 Solara has 224k miles. No issues... runs great...
