Used 2004 Toyota Camry Solara Consumer Reviews
I love my Toyota!
This is a great car! I've had 4 Toyotas; 2 were Camrys, 1 Avalon and now this Camry Solara. It's fun to drive and I love the new style. I have the fully loaded SLE V6 Fire Engine Red and I love it. I didn't think I would like, or use, the navigation system but it is very useful and I will have it on future cars. I find myself trying to find the quickest route, thus saving on gas. I drive 40 miles to work, roundtrip, and I get about 25 mpg. I do have one complaint. The tires that were originally with the vehicle were listed as warranteed for 6 years/100,000K but only lasted for 18K. My husband balances and rotates every 5K. Our Toyota dealer did replace them though with 4 new tires.
Solara: Toyota or Lexus?
This automobile has been outstanding since the first day. My wife and I have owned eight or so Toyotas and they have all been very reliable and of high quality. This one however, exceeds all previous autos. It,s a hoot to drive, has power to spare and looks like a design for the future (not some outdated style from the last ten years). Great value for the money. Go test drive one!

Living it up in my Solara
I really like it. I too had a tire problem, but my dealer was prompt about resetting it, and told me how as well, fun to drive. I still havent finished getting compliments from friends and strangers, people love the intertior lights too, and i like the halogens!! I havent decided if night driving is better than daytime. Handles awesome with sport suspension, car is stable and easily to control around corners, before i bought it testing it, i drove a matrix, and then i drove this, there was such a huge difference in handling and acceleration, i would recommend a 6 cylinder, but 4 isnt bad
A mini Lexus
Okay, it's not really a Lexus, but it sure looks like one. The 3.3L engine purrs like a kitten. It is one of the most comfortable cars I have ever driven. A great replacement for the BMW 325 CIC I traded in for it. My wife and I love it.
Oh What You Do For Me!
Drove this Solara to Reno from Sacramento, the power is awesome; flattens the grades, no problem. Has more power than my '99 Solara, before I added the TRD Supercharger, also corners better. Seems like it has a different, tighter suspension. Mileage was 27mpg for first trip, but I was pushing/testing it from time to time. My '99 gave 29-30mpg on same trip w/supercharger. Can't wait for TRD to add the SC to this engine.
