Used 2004 Toyota Avalon Consumer Reviews
Highway cruiser
Large, comfortable car that cruises the highway effortlessly yet gets good gas milage. For someone on the roal a lot, the reliability of this car is very important to me. Four large adults can ride in this car in comfort, even for long drives.
Toyota Avalon XLS
So far it is excellent
Substantial,Luxurious, and Performance
My Avalon rides like it's gliding through air. It is so smooth and quiet. Great brakes and acceleration. Very roomy, my 6'5" cousin looks like he's 5'5" back there. It's so comfortable. I highly recommend this car. We test drove a lot of cars in the $30,000 to $35,000 range and the Avalon by far ran and felt the best. That's our opinion. Go see for yourself, test drive one.
Excellent Auto
The car is completely reliable. Very low maintenance. Highway fuel economy consistently in the 30 mpg range. The car interior is quiet and roomy with a very good sound system. Handeling is also a plus for this vehicle. All in all a quality vehicle with good price range.
Toyota Avalon
The Avalon is an extremely smooth riding car on the road and very easy to handle. A very well built, solid car and very comfortable to ride in. Nice size back seat.
my new Avalon
We have been leasing Toyotas for about 8 years, and last summer, when the lease was running out, we went to the dealer, fully intending to get another Camry. They had an Avalon on the showroom floor that we really liked, and one just like it on the lot. After test driving both the Camry and the Avalon there was no question as to which car to take. We love the car. It has so many really nice extras that make a difference in the pleasure of driving. And, the service we get on this car and all of the previous Toyotas is second to none. N
Avalon is a winner
I have had my Avalon for about 30 days and find it a joy to drive. It performs well, handles well, corners well and rides well. I think it is a lot of car for the money.Signed, Satisfied in Florida
avalon is often overlooked
this is a terrific car. i had been an american car owner only, for over 30 years. died in the wool. however, the last 3 GM cars i bought (brand new) left me disappointed. the Monte Carlo needed a new engine at 50K. the 92 SSE Bonneville broke down on average once every 6 months and had to be towed (cheap alternators, plastic coolant nipples in the engine block (!) and just an overall decline in quality)same with the 96 Grand Am (alternators)
Avalon over ES300
This is the secoond Avalon I have purchased. I bought a 95 when they first came out. I absolutely love the Avalon. I have had no problems, only the expected.....ex. tires, brakes...etc
Avalon
This car is very similar to the Lexus 300. I did alot of research on my car before purchase and it has withstood each test I put it to. Although it is more sedate than what I am accustomed to driving (sport car), Avalon is a classy car without being ostentatious. Toyota should brag about her more and stop making it a "secret".
