No problems with car at all. JBL stereo kicks butt. Smooth ride with plenty of power. Easily fit three adults (or car seats) in the back. Just a joy to own and drive.

Ever since we bought our Avalon, we have loved to drive in it. It is worth every penny of what we paid for it, though we regret now not buying the XLS. It rides like a dream, and the fuel mileage is an excellent 25 miles to the gallon.

I bought this car used with 170K on it from a dealership. Body and interior were in near perfect condition for a northern car. Had some electric problems with security system and window/power lock switches. Drove the car with 180K on it from Iowa to Arizona. Didn't get to Arizona. Engine seized in New Mexico. No check engine light or low oil light. Towed to repair shop. Told engine was toast. Wanted $5500 to replace with used engine. Most of my prior Toyota experiences had been good and I would have loved to run this car into mid 250k's . Taken by junkyard for $135. :(
