Pleasantly surprised
Outback Limited. Good driving vehicle. That’s coming from a Mercedes ML 350. Nowhere near the highway ride of Mercedes but drives great in town. Saves me $100 month on insurance. Safety features are very good. I find infotainment system easy to use with more user configurable options than my prior Mercedes. The extra slide out thigh support makes this a great vehicle for tall folks.

Oil leak at only 30k miles
I took my car, which had only 30,000 miles on it, to the dealer for an oil change. While there, I was informed that the car needed a 30,000-mile service. I agreed to it. As I waited, they told me that the engine gasket was leaking and that the car was losing oil. I was completely shocked. How could this happen when the car only has 30,000 miles on it? They explained that this is something that happens with Subarus. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. Even though the repair was covered under warranty up to 60,000 miles, I started to worry—what happens after the warranty expires? This is absolutely ridiculous! A new car should not have an engine gasket leaking oil so early in its lifespan. What if I ran out of oil and the engine blew up? I can't even imagine dealing with that kind of disaster. I spent over $30,000 on this car, and this is what I get? Subaru needs to take responsibility and address this issue. These cars should be recalled, and something must be done to protect consumers from this kind of defect. It’s unacceptable that consumers are left dealing with such a serious problem after investing so much money.
