Used 2007 Pontiac G6 GTP 4dr Sedan (3.6L 6cyl 6A) Consumer Reviews
Looks can be deceiving
I bought this car in 2007 with less than 16k on it. It was great for the first month then I started having trouble with the steering and the sunroof leaking. It took more than 4 times being in the shop to fix both the sunroof and steering. This car has LOTS of rattles and squeaks that thankfully the monsoon sound system blares out. This is my 1st GM vehichle. Have owned a mustang and a F150 which i got rid of to get this car. Let's just say my f150 had 180k on it and ran like a dream - would rather take it on a trip cross country than my g6 which now has less than 50k on it. Now having horrible gas mileage ( about 19mpg ) and brakes squealing awefully. Just had new brakes less than 1 yr ago.
Great Value
My wife and I replaced her 2000 Grand Prix GTP coupe with a a 2007 Blue-Gold Chrystal Metallic G6 GTP sedan. Through the first 7200 miles we've taken it on one road trip thus far and achieved an average of 30.6 mpg. Overall my wife and I are happy with the G6 GTP. However, the steering rack had to be replaced (warranty). The steering rack replacement was painless and took just one day (great local dealer).

Awesome Car!!!
I purchased this car about a year ago and I still LOVE it!! I previously had a grand am that I liked, but I got sick of it after only 9 months. this is the only car I've ever had that I didn't get sick of right away. Also the first brand new car I ever got. The exterior is amazing, I have seen some reviews about them not having remote locks, I guess I thought it was standard. I have remote lock/start, sunroof, 19" rims, V6, heated leather seats, automatic with manual option, telescoping steering wheel.
Good ole car
I needed to replace a 2008 G6 that had only 70000 miles and I put all of them on it. It was totaled in an accident. In "car shopping" through Edmomds, the G6 was a car that I put into the search. I found several of years 2007 to 2010. Many were high mileage. I found the one I bought with mileage of 58,200. It was one owner and 50 miles from me. It is a V6 vs the 4 cyl. that I had before. However I had a 1994 Grand Am that was a V6 and I loved it and traded it with 200,000 miles. It's only a month, but the 2007 looks good.
