Don't buy one!
I own a 2014 Versa Note, and the transmission just failed at 142,000 km. Nissan won't do anything, and if you want it repaired, it's about $4500. Stay far away from this car, and it's piece of garbage CVT transmission.
Say No To Versa
I have had this Versa Note for less than 3 months with under 1,000 miles on it. Yesterday I noticed the oil leak spots on the driveway. The worthless dealership says I have to wait 6 days for an appointment to bring it in. If I had known the heap was made in Mexico I would never have bought it. This leak is due to shoddy, sloppy workmanship. One more thing, the worthless dealership said they may have to keep the heap overnight! I don't know which is worse, the dealership or the car. Meanwhile, I have to keep checking and adding oil for the next 6 days while waiting for the worthless dealership appointment.

My first car :(
I just bought this car used less than two weeks ago, and it had a bit of high mileage (170,000) because it used to be a fleet car . I only really needed it to get to work and back which isn’t that far so I thought this car would be a good idea. However, I was driving one day and the CVT transmission failed on me. I contacted the dealership and they towed it for me. Then they told me that there was absolutely nothing wrong and had multiple people check it out. The same day I brought it home again, the transmission failed on me once again. I would be in drive and have my the pedal to the floor and it wouldn’t really go anywhere. I would only hear the engine reving, and when I took my foot off the break I would start to slide backwards. Luckily, I was able to safely get it home both times. Real sad about this one. At least she is cute.

Cheap
Front end and brakes are very noisy. Very poor on bumpy roads. Very rough ride.

Fragile Car
Bought the car used in 2015. Within the first year the car started making a crunching/grinding noise; turns out the wheel bearings needed to be replaced. Since then the car cut off and now doesnt start. Repairman says its either the fuel pump or alternator. The transmission sucks; has no acceleration and barely makes it up hills. Delayed reaction when when stepping on the gas.
