good car
Nissan Versa Note is the lowest msrp car in america and it is exactly why i purchased it. I wanted a bare bones car without power accessories and a manual transmission [all CVT's are trash}. This car rides and feels like a low cost car... You can hear and feel everything with the radio down. This is all fine for me since i knew i was buying the cheapest new car made. I paid 13999 otd, no trade in. Currently have 58000 miles with zero issues. Factory tires should last me another 20000 miles. Since replacing the battery 8901 miles ago, the combined mpg indicator states 43.2. Oil changes are cheap, 3qts of walmart synthetic and wix oil filter every 5000 miles. I am planning to keep this car till giving it to my kids for them to destroy. This car is not, sporty, quick or stylish... it is a economy car and does a fantastic job in my opinion.**UPDATE** have 72,000+ miles now, car is great... installed some new usa made cooper tires. Currently getting 44.2 mpg overall after adjusting my driving to achieve A+ rating with progressive snap shot devise. Yes, i did get a discounted rate. No, i dont recommend you try it... unless you are cool with being the cause of road rage and flipped off by everybody.

Nissan Versa Note 2014 SV Transmission Problems
Our CVT transmission just completely failed in a 2014 Versa Note SV with 103,000. I bought this new car and decided to buy it with zero miles because it was a great car. Bad move. The transmission began to slide, breaking and stopping the car. He towed it to the distributor. He said the cost would be $ 6000 to replace the entire transmission. I called Nissan Corporate but they did not help me. They said it's out of warranty. and this fault had been presented since before 60000 miles but they never wanted to recognize that the transmission presented problems and always left with what was another fault until now it is out of warranty they say it is the transmission, they did not even offer to pay 50% I have seen many problems with the CVT transmission. Something needs to be done. This is not quality and Nissan has to guarantee its cars up to 150000 miles. I will NEVER buy a Nissan vehicle., the quality of nissan is going down and it is the worst agency not worth the price for what they sell.

Gas Saver
I am happy with my Versa Note. I was surprised at the amount of interior room it has for such a small car. I make a 300 mile trip twice a week and needed a car with good gas mileage. I'm getting about 33mpg but I have a heavy foot. It does not corner like a sports car but I never expected it to. I'm sure it will hold up for many miles to come

Love my Nissan Versa Note!
We bought my little Versa Note; so I could travel 42 miles a day to feed my little mustang horse. So we bought it for fuel economy. I didn't want to put miles on my 2003 Mustang GT. My little horse passed away. So now I still drive my little Versa.I hit a deer on the the highway going 65 miles per hour.I can honestly say I was so impressed with how the car did when I slammed on my brakes. It stayed straight as an arrow on the road. The deer survived; I had to replace The left fender and head lamp and the wrap on front fender. I was more worried about the semi that was behind me. It is 2019 and I love my Nissan still. It parallel brakes so easy, I am a senior citizen with limitations; getting in and out is so easy.Getting in and out of parking spots is a breeze. I can honestly say; I adore my Versa Note and I love the service Dept. at my local dealership. This car holds a lot of groceries; and all my potting soil.Again May be an economy car; I love it! I have had no problems.:-)

CVT Transmission Died, Like the Rest of Them...
In and out of shop for small things like new struts, rotors, battery, fan belt, water pump, etc, then at 130,000mi the CVT transmission died on the freeway. Cost to replace was $4,000. We decided to junk it and buy a new car instead. We are still making payments for it, too, but "what are you going to do?" From what I hear Nissan and others know that CVT transmissions are crap and that they break every 60-80,000mi, but they don't want to alarm people or do recalls because of $$$. Figures. I suppose you could consider it lucky we made it as far as we did. By the way, our new car is a Toyota, automatic transmission!
