Used 2021 Nissan Sentra Consumer Reviews
Nissan Sentra 2020 👎🏻👎🏻
The rear camera keeps going on and off. I have visited the service center several times over a brand new car 😚😚

Engineering Failure
This little car has great creature comforts for the price and is a comfortable city car. But the engineering behind the CVT transmission is a failure. When using cruise control, the car compensates for a lack of engine braking by applying the brake. I believe this sends the wrong signal to drivers behind me so I don’t feel confident using cruise control. For that reason and other tech issues like Apple car play, the car receives low marks

Looks Good
I bought the 2020 Sentra brand new! I had it 24 hours and herd a thumping sound in front tire... I took it to dealer immediately. The concurred with me that something was wrong, possibly bearings? Etc... they gave me a loaner... 30 DAYS LATER, they still didn't know what was wrong! They ended up swapping the car for another, anyway I personally was at that point not happy about the car in general, it looks flashy for a cheaper priced vehicle, but it is cheap for real! I ended up selling it on carvana and actually made 3500$... it was covid times and everything was hard to get, so I had the car for a year and only put 4k miles on it! Never was a Nissan person, and never Will be! - The End

Good car
We purchased the car for our son to replace the 2010 Dodge Charger. The car is nice and fit his needs to go to school and work.
Fun to drive for an economy car!
I bought my Nissan Sentra used in October of 2023. My previous car was totaled and I had spent a week driving a rental Nissan Altima. Nissans felt a little more sporty, tighter steering, less body roll than the Ford Fusion Hybrid I had been driving. Plus the Nissan CVT transmission does a good imitation of a normal automatic with smooth "shifts" and little drone. So I went to the dealer expecting to drive home in an Altima and asked to test drive a Sentra while I was there. First, the bright blue got me! Nice to see a car that wasn't white, shades of gray, or black. Secondly, I have back issues and the Sentra was about 90-95% has comfortable as the Altima. I mostly drive solo or with one other person so the smaller Sentra is a pro for parking spaces and my small garage. The main thing you miss out on with the Senta SV is a powered driver's seat, but I'm comfortable with the manual seat. Otherwise is has dual-zone auto climate which I like, and modern but simple to use infotainment. The thing I didn't expect is that this little car is fun to drive! I look forward to driving it. I take trips and explore to backroads more often than I did with my last two cars. I've only put 20000 miles on it, it now has about 50000 miles but it's been reliable. On the highway it's easy to get high 30's to low 40's mpg. Around town I only get 26mpg but it's hilly where I live. Overall it took what was a bad situation (an accident, fortunately no one seriously hurt) and turned the corner with a nice car for a low price.
