I purchased my 2015 Nissan SV Rogue in 2017 used with 23,000 miles. Since purchasing, I’ve had issues with the lift gate closing, the driver side window not going up as it should and last week I had a sudden awful noise in the back and the car struggled to drive. Turns out it’s a failed rear differential that will cost nearly $3K to fix, not to mention the cost I’m paying out of pocket for a rental car. The car has 67,000 miles. It has been cared for meticulously. This car is a lemon and does not feel safe. So disappointed in Nissan. These problems are inexcusable.

(Updated after 10 months of ownership) My 2008 Nissan Rogue SL which I loved as it was a peppy, good performing, reliable car for city driving in good or bad weather. I traded it for a 2015 Nissan Rogue with the premium package which had all the options and I was looking forward keeping this car ten years, that is until I drove it daily. Every time I would drive it i hated it more and more. The new Rogue is slower than the first generation has very loud acceleration, less maneuverable and has awful brakes way too much travel . My wife would keep on asking why i'm I slamming on the brakes and I wasn't! The brakes would not grab, driving was no longer fun it was a burden. The 2015 had too many issues with performance for me to consider to have the dealer address them, I traded it for another vehicle after 10 months of ownership at a lost and now i'm happy!! This Rogue is very different from the first generation, now know as the Rogue Select. Nissan focused to much on tech gadgets and just slammed the same engine and transmission, they should focus more on the car itself. Test drive on the highway and listen to that awful wine of the CVT, pay attention to the brakes and don't let the salesman turn on the radio (it's a distraction). I would not recommend this Vehicle!

The 2015 is the worst car I have ever had! I had a 2012 and there was not a single issue! A year and 1/2 into having this car. The car shuts itself off while in drive, locks the steering wheel and gets possessed like the devil!! The headlights went into “police light mode”, dealership took 4 days to decide it must be a bad battery and claims to have switched it to a new one. Come another year later and same issue!! Also, the key is hardly ever detected!!! Also, the automatic window doesn’t work sometimes! And to top it all off, changing the radio presets with the steering wheel also works sometimes and then doesn’t work other times while the door is closed...discovered it will always work with door open at the Nissan service place. Terrible warranty. Also, Nissan wants $125 just to look at the car “diagnostic fee” even if it’s a warranty issue! Piece of #%* Car! I will never get a Nissan or Infiniti until the end of time! They are the worst company in the history of United States!

I can live with many things that are not as I want them to be. This car looks great, but vibration while accelerate that I can feel on the steering wheel and the gas pedal isl at unacceptable level. Dealer and Nissan does not have a solution and only thing they want to do is for you to leave the service department quietly. It is as bad as the CRV problem and makes your every day commute very stressful.

Love this car! Went from an 10 Inf M35X to this and glad I did. I know some hate the CVT but this CVT is much better than other cars. Honda has the best CVT and our MPG is around 31 Mixed highway and backroads.
