I love my Maxima!!!
This is my 3rd Nissan Maxima. We had a '92, '97, and now 2005. We've loved all of them, but this one is by far the best. I especially love the sky-view roof. I have been given compliments on this car wherever I go - at stop lights, car washes, drive-thru restaurants - there are compliments. We put the Nissan chrome wheels on the car this month, and it really spruces it up. A great car - I'd recommend it highly.
Can't get repair parts from Nissan
I loved my Maxima until the air conditioner died while on vacation (38000 miles) and now a coolant part which failed will be on back order for a total of 5 weeks before it it ships. I can't drive the car which only has 57000 miles on it. The Nissan consumer department hasn't helped so beware of the support you get after the purchase.

Great Performance
Been a Great Car so far. Fun to drive, great for road trips. 33 MPG on the highway! Love the engine, friend has a 2005 Mustang GT and the Max gives it a run for its money. Looks spectacular with tinted windows and 18" Chrome Wheel Package.
Fun car, few complaints.
The Maxima is overall a great car. It has quick acceleration for a car of its size, and provides a nice ride. It has so many great features like memory and heated seats, satellite radio, and everything else needed to make a car feel like home. The exterior looks amazing, especially with my optional "amazing" package, with great looking bright chrome rims and grille. I have gotten so many compliments on an awesome looking car. The paint does chip easily though, and I have spent a lot on detail work. Inside, everything feels fairly nice, although some parts are a bit cheesy. The controls are overly-complicated, but manageable. The Bose stereo sounds good.
Flawless Acceleration
I test drove other mid-size cars in similar price ranges; Camry, Accord Ex, Mustang GT 4.0 and none accelerated like the Maxima. I do a lot of highway driving, and hate not being able to pull out and away from a bunch of slow pokes, who love riding each others bumpers.
