Used 2005 Mazda RX-8 Consumer Reviews
silver bullet
I love this car. Its rough with the gas but hey I dont care. Its soooo fun. It drives so smooth and looks sexy. A head turner. I dont mind paying a note for this. I have the automatic not as potent as the 6 six speed but im not complaining
mazda rx-8,

Phenomenal Handling - Sport Room for 4
I have a Velocity Red, Auto w/ Sports pkg., own just over 1 week. During this time I have driven over 650 miles. This included a weekend trip to the beach. The ride is fantastic; acceleration good, comfortable and a responsive ride that is phenomenal. Zoom-Zoom! Head turning to say the least. The interior is comfortable and the cockpit seating is a plus. The kids love the car and there is room for all four of us. Storage space is fine for this type of car. Standard front air bags, side curtain air bags, along w/ side air bags for the front seats. ABS braking and with the sport package added stability control w/ traction control. State Farm considers it a 4 door sedan for insurance purpose.
practical sports car
I've owned M3,Z3,MR2,WRX,911,RX7 and several British sports cars. The Rx8 betters them all in some ways and betters some of them in every way. Who needs more power? Perfect compromise between ride and handling and it looks fantastic. I test drove all of the current sports car competition and there really was none - unless you must have a top that drops.
Best of the bunch
Considered RX8, 350Z, and Infiniti G35 coupe. Overall value with regards to performance with price led to RX8 purchase. The true joy in driving this car is not captured if you are after straightline speed. This car is flawless in handling and shifting. Exterior design sets it apart from any other vehicle on the road. It receives doubletakes from all age groups. Knowing I was in the market for a performance vehicle, not a compact fuel economy car, I have no problems with the gas mileage (compare apples to apples and you should agree). You MUST take advantage of Redlining RPM's the rotary engine allows to have ultimate fun and feel the Mazda zoom zoom!
