I have a platinum plus phev. The look of the interior is fantastic. All the info, nav, phone. Android auto ac. Settings simple and easy to use and clever. Live the seats. Love the ac. The battery ev is the only disappointment. 26 miles gets used quickly. Driving in Normal balances it out. I needed a bigger vehicle for my big gorgeous dog, beach equipment etc. I like luxury and needed space mazda does not add 5k surcharge ir dealer ad on. I love my new car

Quality control and problems from the start

Bought brand new From the start problem with the on board computer. Engine light on. Infotainment center screen had to be replaced 7 recalls within 6 months from purchase. Had to re- program on board computer. Left suspension noise. It has to be replaced. Waiting for the part Driver mirror vibrates at high speed. It will have to be replaced Waiting for new one.! Electric wires tubing covers are based on a soy component plastic that attracts rodents. Car in the shop for wires replacement. Again no parts. Infotainment system is outdated with no touch screen features. I would not recommend buying a Mazda CX90. Servicing the cars also takes for ever. We will sell this one at a loss when out of the shop.

Unfortunately with less than 10,000 miles on my CX-90 that I love DEARLY, I just had to file lemon law because my engine + hybrid system + i-stop feature are all malfunctioning. Save yourself this heartbreak and just don’t do it!

Mazda really dropped the ball on this vehicle just to get a 2024 on the market in 2023. There have been numerous recalls on this new vehicle. I have spent more than 20+ hours waiting in the service center waiting area while new parts or reprogramming had to be done. This is not normal Mazda quality control. No one should have to go through this on a new vehicle. Shame on you Mazda

We owned a newly purchased CX-5 and it had zero issues. We then traded it in 2 years later for a more spacious 2024 Cx-90 Low Hybrid. Issues began at only 250 miles on the Odo. Low main battery issues, including dead battery, and constant annoying low battery warnings on dash and through speaker system. We had the power steering fail during a trip and had to drive with a disabled power steering for over 350 miles until we got home. We had both rear radar sensors replaced because they failed. Our dealer replaced the stock battery twice and we were on our 3rd new battery with only 3500 miles on the odo. Mazda tech support finally figured out the alternator and regulator was undercharging the batteries that had died. It took 7+ visits to get the batteyr issue finally resolved. We had every recall Mazda had for our VIN. Finally at 3800 miles on this car, I'd had enough of the dash warning (drive vehicle to charge battery) as that kept coming up all of the time. The dealer did so many software updates, I honestly lost count unless I looked through my stack of invoices. I ended up trading my new 2024 CX-90 for another make that was gas only. I'd had enough of the many tech issues that Hybrids have plus one lemon of a hybrid that Mazda introduced far too early with many issues along with it. While Mazda is considered a reliable brand, that will not hold true at all for it's Hybrids, be it the low Hybrid I had or the PHEV plug-in either which has even more issues than mine did. Given the recently introduced Mazda 2025 CX-90 has already had one or more serous recalls, it's "here we go again" with this risky model. Avoid the CX-90 altogether until a model year comes along where the vehicle proves to be far more reliable. ...and 2025 isn't going to be that year!
