Damn near perfect.
We picked this vehicle for my wife but, I'm kinda jealous! I love driving the Mazda, my wife is also very happy with it. Handling is better than expected and, acceleration is pretty darned good for what it is. Interior is awesome and quiet. We are happy with our purchase. This is our first Mazda ever.

Defective workmanship
Both heat and A/C had serious defective workmanship issues out the door. Now there are 2 recalls (not even 1 year old), a serious potential gas tank leak and a serious potential brake failure over a bolt. Mazda corporate is not responding to my requests for compensation.

Glitchy
I bought My CX-30 6 months ago, 3 months in I started to have technical difficulties. It runs smoothly and great but the programming is off, the screen freezes and the radio makes weird noises, also my key battery has been replaced 3 times!!! The battery in my key is suppose to last 2 years?? My keys gets locked inside my car when that’s not suppose to be an issue with a push to start, when it actually works I have to bring the key fob to the start bottom frequently. I think I got a lemon but Mazda has it for the second time for diagnostics so hopefully the glitches are fixed.

Fun, little (not so little) suv!
I leased a 2020 Mazda CX30 premium and have had it for a year. I absolutely love my Mazda, it’s compact, comfy, sporty/nimble, great on gas, awesome tech, very quiet interior cabin while driving..like German quiet. Now the main problem, the AC has sucked. I noticed than when accelerating and the ac was on that it would star blowing hot air, no matter what I did I could not stop it from blowing hot air when accelerating. Ended up taking it to the dealer and was told by service that that was the way the vehicle was designed, it would cut the compressor from blowing cold air to send power to the engine. After some time I took it in for a recall and mentioned the ac issue again and was told they finally had a software upgrade, I was so thrilled as if I got a new car. A little before the summer temps in CA began I noticed that it just could not get cold enough, so that were in summer I’m struggling feeling comfortable in my car. The interior temp does not really drop below 57-60 degrees so I’m taking it to the dealer for another recall this week and they need to fix my ac issue because my sisters cx5 ac is ice cold. Also, sometimes the heated seats do not work.
