I bought this car after reading good reviews and good solid look of the car. After putting on a few options such as navigation, hatchback and moon roof, the total price became expensive. Since I got the car, there were continuous visits for maintenance. Some covered under the warranty however Mazda made me to pay some of them despite this car in in factory warranty. At one point, the car almost caught a fire when my wife and son was inside. They need to pull over until the smoke coming from the rear brakes cleared. Repeated visits to fix the noise and repeated visits to change the navigation or various other issues. I am extremely dissatisfied with this product. In two years the car's value dropped to 1/3 of the original price and if it wasn't under warranty, it would cost me a lot to repair this car. Handling is not great either. Not that you expect from quality Japanese cars. Overall this car is made for looks but it is very low quality product.

I bought a brand new 2016 Mazda 3. My previous car was a 2012 Nissan Altima. The Mazda is awfully loud inside the cabin. When I told this to the Mazda dealer they said o well Mazda is working on it to reduce noise. Also, the power brake is essentially non existing. You have exert for leg really hard to stop this car or keep it stopped at a red light for example. Definitely don't buy this car. Compared to my Altima, it is horse wagon!

Mazda does not offer real time traffic with their navigation system . You never know if there are any delays in real time. Mazda offers no fix. This is not a navigation system. My phone works better than this so called navigation. Stay away from Mazda they cannot and will not fix this. Why pay for a navigation system when it does not work . Mazda should refund all owners that were lied to.
