2025 Lucid Air – A Masterpiece on Wheels
From the moment I laid eyes on my 2025 Lucid Air Grand Touring, I knew this was something special. The beautiful and classy aerodynamic design immediately caught my attention, with its striking light signature and unique styling setting it apart from anything else on the road. Interior & Comfort – A Luxurious Haven Stepping inside, I was greeted by an exquisitely designed, driver-focused cabin. The materials, fit, and finish exude true luxury, and the beautifully isolated interior creates an oasis of comfort. The seating is exceptionally adjustable, allowing me to fine-tune my position for maximum support, making long commutes an absolute pleasure. Driving Dynamics – Performance Meets Refinement Having previously owned a BMW M850, I had concerns about switching brands, fearing that nothing would come close to the driving experience I was used to. However, Lucid exceeded my expectations. The three driving modes provide the perfect balance between efficiency, comfort, and exhilaration. The 819 horsepower is nothing short of breathtaking, delivering instantaneous acceleration that never fails to put a smile on my face. The handling is precise and confidence-inspiring, with steering sensitivity adjusting seamlessly based on the driving mode. Whether taking tight corners or cruising at high speeds, the car goes exactly where I want it to. Ride Comfort – Designed for Long Journeys Beyond its thrilling performance, the ride comfort is exceptional. The adaptive cruise control, whisper-quiet cabin, and premium sound system elevate every drive. Even with my daily long commute, I step out of the car feeling refreshed. Technology & Infotainment – Intuitive and Smart For the first time, I find myself actually using the native GPS system, which is so good that I no longer need Google Maps. Apple CarPlay works seamlessly, and the integrated streaming services ensure I always have access to the perfect soundtrack for any journey. The infotainment system is intuitive, and having access to two screens makes everything feel effortless. Build Quality & Attention to Detail – Excellence in Every Inch Every aspect of this car screams quality. The materials, finishes, and overall craftsmanship are top-tier, with ambient lighting adding a touch of sophistication. Every time I step inside, I admire the meticulous attention to detail that went into designing this car. Range & Charging – Living Up to Expectations The real-world range has been close to the advertised numbers, which is impressive given my driving habits. Charging speeds vary depending on the station and how I’ve been driving, but overall, I am very pleased with the efficiency and ease of recharging. Standout Features – More Than Just a Car The generous legroom in both front and rear, the stunning exterior design, and the ample trunk and frunk space make this car as practical as it is beautiful. Opting for the 21-inch wheels was the right decision—they enhance handling, road feel, and overall driving dynamics while also elevating the car’s appearance. Areas for Improvement – A Work in Progress Some people mention ease of entry and exit, but I personally have had no issues. The AI Voice Assistant could integrate better, but I know Lucid is actively improving it and will push updates over the air, so I have no concerns there. Final Verdict – A Game-Changer After owning Mercedes and multiple BMW models (M550, M850, 330, i4), I can confidently say that switching to Lucid was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. This car has completely redefined my expectations, and I am fully committed to the Lucid brand for as long as I can be. The 2025 Lucid Air Grand Touring is not just a car—it’s an experience, a statement, and a benchmark for modern luxury and performance. If you need the optimal balance between performance, driving dynamics, comfort, and luxury in an EV, you can’t go wrong with this masterpiece!

AVOID THIS COMPANY, AVOID THIS CAR
I want to raise awareness, and perhaps save someone else our experience. TLDR: we had a catastrophic car failure (2024 Air Pure), and now feel unsafe with the car. The company is as unfriendly as you can imagine. They claim they can’t communicate through email or text. The people we can reach by phone can’t help us, and promised call-backs from supervisors never come. They are stonewalling, giving us no way to end our lease, even by paying off the full amount and paying a penalty to escape. I got the BBB involved, but Lucid is stonewalling them as well. AVOID THIS COMPANY, AVOID THIS CAR. We leased a 2024 Air (Pure) last year. A bunch of glitches and small frustrations that others have written about, but fun to drive. We were notified late last year about a recall that affected our car. When we booked the service, we asked if it was something we needed to worry about - could we still drive the car. They said no, it was fine to drive. In early February, a few days before our scheduled service appointment, my wife was driving across the George Washington Bridge, and the car lost braking ability, ability to steer, and then the car “bricked” or shut down completely. While she fortunately was going at a low enough speed that there was no collision, she waited trapped in the car for 30 minutes with traffic roaring around her until the Port Authority Police towed the car off the bridge. They left her with the car on the side of Riverside Drive in upper Manhattan near the GWB. Lucid “customer care” told her to wait with the car while they tried to locate a tow service. They had difficulty because the car, having no neutral, needed a special tow truck. After an hour and a half, with her phone nearly dead, my wife left the car to return home. It ended up taking them 8 hours to get it towed. A few days later, the service station told us it was the issue that triggered the recall, and that we shouldn’t have been told the car was safe to drive. The entire experience was rough on my wife. She has been going to EMDR sessions to treat post-traumatic stress, is having trouble driving, and is (I think understandably) is no longer willing to drive this car. We don’t feel safe with the car’s technology, or with the company, so we wanted to end the lease early and return the car to Lucid. I notified Lucid the same evening about what happened, and that I wanted to terminate the lease. After over a dozen conversations with their customer support, we still haven’t been given any way to end it. I was told verbally I would owe the entire balance of the remaining lease payments plus an early termination penalty. I have been repeatedly promised a callback from a supervisor to discuss the issue, and repeatedly received no call. Meanwhile, there seems to be no actual way to terminate the lease. They claim to have sent a lease termination quote via physical mail, but I haven’t received it. They said they would resend it but I haven’t received that either. They claim they are unable to send texts or emails (though everything was done via electronic communications when leasing the car). Meanwhile, while the company stonewalls, I am making lease payments and paying to park the car, which is going unused. This could have easily led to my wife's death, and the company is a nightmare to deal with. This car and this company are not ready for prime time.

Has potential
The service is atrocious. I have called and have not had anyone respond for weeks. I was told problems would be resolved by update months ago. The car drives really well but getting into the car is difficult because of the low roof line. There is a large blind spot as mentioned in the other reviews. I am looking to trade it in since Lucid doesn't offer a buyback program. It's definitely overpriced taking everything into consideration.

Startup company that you cannot rely on!
I was inspired by Lucid Design and picked Lucid Air over Mercedes EQS and Tesla model S. The first days were pretty awesome, but After 40 days of driving my Lucid, the rear driver side tire popped in freeway, and the car started smocking. I went through 30 seconds of super stressful situation and pulled over. The Tire and rim got separated and all the brake harnessing was destroyed and deep scratches and damages to the quarter panel. Their service center team blamed on Pirelli tire and said something, somewhere, somehow hit my tire. They threw away the damaged tire with no root cause investigations. The tire damaged the quarter panel interior and body shop work cost was $12000. The fact that Lucid service team did not distinguish between a flat tire case and explosion of a tire is absolutely mind blowing. Lucid exclusively work with one body shop and my car was parked there for 3 weeks for cost estimate. After maxing out my insurance coverage they even do not provide Loaner car for their delay process and millions of other issues. That was my experience with Lucid that I liked to share with my network. Please do not trust the startup companies like Lucid. They are not reliable and have zero support for you. I wish I had made a better decision.
Most fun ever
I decided to go all in on the EV craze and I love every day I’m in my Lucid Air Touring. Five months and 1700 miles later the excitement and fun has not faded. It just feels so safe and special to drive this vehicle at whatever speed you fancy. Now we are at 6000 miles and all is well. Original review still stands.
