I purchased a 2010 Lexus RX350 Ultra package from a Lexus dealer in September 2019 with 72k miles. It now has 96k miles, In my time of ownership I’ve had these problems arise: Leather doesn’t hold up well at all Amplifier failed-$300 for a rebuild and self install Rear struts failed- $700 Trunk shocks failed- $50 self installed ECU failed- $1,410 TPMS system failed- $900 Honestly I typically love Lexus vehicles and I have several cars at the moment to compare and this SUV while it is very comfortable and has decent power has not held up to the reliability expected of a Toyota/Lexus product.

Best Used Luxury SUV Buy!!

Lets face it only the top 5% of wage earners can afford to pony up the 40k+ to purchase a new RX, but when it comes to the best value in the used SUV market look no further!! the quality and technology that goes into the 2010-2015 Lexus RX350 is impressive to say the least. This segment is jammed full of popular hot selling offerings but with most of them there comes serious sacrifices, reliability, Tech, size, comfort, etc. If you are in the market for the nicest used SUV in the 20k and under price segment the 2010-2015 RX stands head and shoulders above the rest! And with the rock solid reliability and re-sell its a no brainer!

My old one was better

I had written in before when we first got this car about how uncomfortable the seats were. I should have listened to the prior posters. We finally realized that no amount of breaking the car in would make the seats comfortable so we had to take a loss and got rid of the car. Lexus needs to realize that quality and comfort counts and that it is not about technology and gadgets. My 2007 was better than the 2010. If you have a lease ending on the older model I would not recommend the new one. Perhaps Lexus will fix the issues with this SUV and go back to the luxury, comfort and quality it was known for. I would not recommend this SUV.

Unintended Acceleration Warning

We are or have been very loyal Toyota and Lexus owners for many years. Our 2010 RX 350 was an upgrade from the 2006 IS 350. The Vehicle is a great ride except for the unintended acceleration. It came very close to tragedy 2 weeks ago on an interstate. I have heard about the Toyota problem but didn't want to believe that it would happened to our RX. There is less than 20k on the vehicle. It started acting up a few months ago, it would accelerate over set cruise speed by 10 miles hr but wasn't life threatening, braking stop the acceleration. This happen twice with me & twice with my wife until the brake didn't stop the problem acceleration. She couldn't get it stop by jabbing the brakes hard,

Drive Train

I was making a turn going approx 10 miles an hour when a retaining clip on the right front axle broke resulting in the car not being able to move except to roll to a stop. The car had to be towed to a Lexus dealership. They said there was also a bolt missing in the bearing carrier. Now I am afraid to drive worrying that it will happen again. I took it back to the dealership I purchased it from to see if they would give me my money back so I could purchase another car, but they would only give me 75% of my purchase price. I left the dealership very disappointed, with my car. What would have happened if this happened on the freeway?
