RX300AWD

Great vehicle for running about. Turning circle too wide. Fuel mileage is rather low for a rather weak V6. Great workmanship and detail. For tall people, inside can be cramped.

My opinion

MY wife and I purchased the RX300 with the Premium Plus Package after viewing the BMW X5. The X5 had nothing on the Lexus aside from the 'BMW' name. We are very happy with the RX300.

Everything is excellent

Everything inside and out is excellent, except only V6 is available.

What a Great Car!

Bought this car based on the rave reviews, high levels of safety & comfort. We were not comparing with the other luxury SUVs, but rather the Pathfinder, 4Runner, Highlander, Grand Cherokee, etc. Very, very pleased with this choice. Definitely worth a little more money for the level of comfort, safety and reliability.

2001 RX300 AWD w/NAV

I love the Navigation system... although it would be nice if it responds faster.

A nice luxury SUV.

Good acceleration, 0-60 in 8.5 seconds. Not as smooth a ride as one would expect, especially on California freeways.

Solid & dependable

This car makes you feel safe. You just feel like if you were in a wreck the solidness of this car would hold up and protect you. Has good power and acceleration. For the time this was manufactured (2002) there are some nice technology features available. I have enjoyed mine, and if looking and find a clean one it should be worth buying.

Reliability and more

We purchased this car new in 2002 and have had only minor issues. It has 132K on the clock and going strong. Recently replaced all the struts (my choice) installed front and rear cameras with Apple Carplay. The only dislike is the turning radius, it gets you there but leaves something to be desired. Replace the radio mast on numerous occasions due to cold temps. We also currently own 2011 Lexus GX 460, and my beloved 2007 Toyota Trunda. We have previously owned Two Toyota Land Cruisers and a Corolla. Stick to the Lexus and Toyota brands for the best quality.
