A "10" for sure
the body lines are 360 degree perfect. the cloud like ride , no wind noise at any speed lets you enjoy the Mark Levinson surround sound like your in the lazy boy. doing well over the speed limit without realizing it. Moves and sounds like a big cat when pushed. Probably one of the best cars ever built.

Best Car I've Ever Owned!
Remains absolutely reliable and very comfortable. Best radio ever. Mileage now 107,367. Only expensive repair was replacement of front upper control arm bushings for which I was grossly overcharged by my Lexus dealer ($3000). Battery, wiper blades and tires of course have been replaced. I have it professionally detailed every 2 years. It looks, rides and handles almost like new. I have no plans to replace it. The price for a new LS 500 is about $30,000 more, if you can find one.

Impeccable timeless design
For being an owner of a 2008 LS600HL, and a 2010 LS460 the only words i have for this car are, "It's here for you". From switching from a S600, 750li, A8L, this has taken the cake not only in the reliability department, but in the looks, feel, and lastly the fit and finish. To keep any of the german ones I've owned, this one has not only saved me money, but has never let me down like the others. If i were to take time back, i would have never stepped foot in the german planned obsolescence dealers. You spend 6 figures on a model just to look out dated within months of the new one. which is usually minor aesthetic adjustments. Almost as embarassing as tesla is in general, if you're in the market for one, this will take care of you.

bumpy ride on my new LS, drives like a boat, bad gas milage.
I purchased my new 2011 from the showroom, a big splurge and excited about having a top car! When we left that night for home, the car felt like it was getting a flat tire! This continued after 4 visits back to the dealer. Finally, I was told it was the tires (they replaced all 4) and that my car will have a bumpy ride every time I get in it for the first couple of miles and then some!! That is what I expect with a $75,000 car! A car that feels like I an getting a flat when I drive to the store. I have begun to hate this car and the dealer for not solving this problem, but making excuses. I will never buy a Lexus again and plan to trade this in for a car that feels good to drive.
Wow. Run (don't walk) away from this car.
The NAV system is much worse than the 430. To push a button on the screen you have to press the screen and then release the finger press before the system acknowledges the button press. This effectively doubles the amount of time it takes to enter an address. There is a knocking sound that is an inherent design flaw. The sound is caused by the fuel pump. The dealer repair shop at first pretended they couldn't hear the sound. Then they admitted it was a design flaw they couldn't rectify. De-contenting is a term that means the manufacturer has removed features that used to be there. This model has been decontented from the prior 430 in many ways.
