Not what was expected!
Vehicle has a Smart Cruise Control which can not be turned off, permanently. Can not know, if the vehicle started while utilizing the remote start or the doors are locked.
Needs improvement
I traded from a Toyota Highlander to a 2025 Pro prestige. Wish I still had my old car as the telluride has several issues that are very frustrating. First and most frustrating is that keyless entry system doesn’t always work and you can’t get in your car. Second, the engine is sluggish and delays moving forward at times when you step on the gas, leaving response for between the driver intent and with the car performance poor. Third the various drive modes don’t really work and interfere with driving the vehicle. Finally, the sticker gas mileage is nowhere near what you actually get and is far less. On the positive side, the heads up this way works well and so do the numerous safety features. The car also has a lot of room for storage in the back, but very limited storage space in the driver in front passenger area. I would not recommend this vehicle to a friend.

Two new 2024 Kias in one year and both were faulty
My husband purchased a new 2024 Kia Telluride and was shocked to learn that it couldn’t return from the altitude of the Colorado mountains to Denver without stuttering and having the check engine light illuminate. Kia corporate denied any problems until several people experienced the issue and their engineer from Korea drove our car and had the same experience. By that point, my husband had traded the lemon to our local dealer and was given a fair deal on our second 2024 Kia. This car performed well at sea level but my husband pulled into another car leaving a parking lot and the car never warned or did any emergency braking before the crash. The crash was a 5-8 mph crash with no airbags deployed and yet the car was deemed to be a “total” after this minor accident. Once again, Kia Corporation will not hold themselves accountable for 2 lemons so we have moved on to a German car. If you are smart, you will NOT purchase a Kia Telluride. We have never owned such poorly made cars.
