2024 Kia Forte Consumer Reviews

Kia Forte GT - A Best Value
Looking to replace my 2017 Civic Sport, which my 17 year old took over, I was certain I’d just buy a new Civic. Unfortunately the new civic I test drove didn’t perform like my 2017, despite having the same drivetrain. It was also roughly 50% more expensive, so I began looking for a better value. I eventually test drove a 2024 Kia Forte GT and was impressed. It seemed to deliver a much better value. Time will tell if it still looks that way years from now. I’ve put nearly 7,000 miles on the Kia and really like the car so far. I have only a few things I’d change if I could: 1) The OEM tires are not something I’d purchase, detracting from the otherwise solid performance for a car in this class 2) I’d like to see a hybrid version for close to the same price —gas mileage is mildly disappointing, consistently delivering mid- to upper-20s mpg around town. Again, minor issues in a car I consider a five star value.

First Kia - Fantastic Experience
I recently purchased a 2024 Kia Forte GT Line. I did a ton of research before making this purchase. I feel the expert reviews really undersell this fantastic car. I love the handling and it is totally capable for passing and on the highway. It is super fun to drive. I read a lot of expert reviews saying that it was sluggish I have not had that experience. The IVT is tuned really well and the simulated shifts make the driving experience smooth. I am getting 36 mpg with mixed driving. The infotainment display is crystal clear and easy to use. Apple CarPlay works great, although not wireless. Wireless charger works well I love the placement and the compartment below it for extra storage. The seats are very comfortable and the drivers seat has additional lumbar and bolstering. This is my first time owning a Kia and I could not be happier with my Forte so far. I have previously owned Honda, Hyundai, Mitsubishi and Jeep vehicles. I would pick the GT Line Forte over all of them. I also test drove the LXS model and enjoyed it. However, ultimately wanted the extra tech and interior upgrades. If you’re looking for an affordable, reliable and stylish vehicle - the Forte is worth test driving.

Carplay doesn't connect to iPhone
Car runs great. But if you have an iPhone and plan on connecting to Carplay - good luck. I've had the car for two months and can't connect or get anyone on the phone to help me
