The car is powerful and quiet. A lot of features and small things make driving easier and more comfortable. There in no issues after a year of everyday driving.

Worst car I have ever had. The 2020 Forte models pull to the right terribly. Even got an alignment just to make sure. I wouldn't take another one even if it was given to me for free!!

We have a 2020 Kia Forte and we have had nothing but aggravation in dealing with Kia. First, we had the car stolen from in front of our house. Fortunately, it was found the next day because the car ran out of gas quickly. We were never informed by Kia that their cars lack an ignition safety device that every other car brand seems to be able to have (except Hyundai, which owns Kia) that prevents thieves from using a USB port to jump start a car. We ended up paying $1,500 to repair the damage done to the steering column. We took the car after it was stolen to the Kia dealer. It took over 3 weeks for them to fix the damage and when they finally returned it. When we picked it up, it was full of trash which they had not bothered to clean up. Kia also refused to provide us with a loaner car during those 3 weeks. We got a notice about a year later from Kia telling us we could bring the car in to install the ignition safety device. Too little, too late. We were driving on vacation this summer when the car started having transmission issues while we were driving in the Nevada desert.north of Las Vegas. The car was having difficulty shifting gears until it eventually stopped moving forward. We pulled off the interstate and had AAA tow us to St. George, UT which was the closest Kia dealer. The driver said it sounded like a transmission issue (he had seen the same problem in other Kias) and that the transmission should be covered by the dealer. We had to pay $610 to have the car towed to the dealer. We told the dealer what had happened and that it was a transmission issue. They had the car for the day and when we went to pick it up the next morning, they said they could find nothing wrong. They suggested it was bad gas and that there was nothing else they could do. We headed back on the interstate and we got about 20 miles out of St. George when the transmission started having the same issues again. We fortunately were able to make it back to the dealer. They had the car for 3 more days and Kia eventually agreed to replace the transmission. They checked the transmission fluid which was black, not the red it is supposed to be. Why this was not check when we brought the car in the first time makes no sense other than Kia hoped we would move on and be someone else's problem. As part of their warranty, Kia claimed it had a Trip Interruption Policy to help cover costs if a warranty covered issue happened when you were more than 100 miles from home. We were 1,2000 miles from and stuck in St. George, UT for 5 nights. While Kia did cover the cost of the new transmission because it was covered by the 100,000 mile power train coverage, we incurred nearly $2,000 in expenses (hotel, rental car, food, etc). The Trip Interruption Policy only provided $100 per day for 3 days maximum which would have been $300. While nowhere near the $2,000 in expenses that we had, $300 was better than nothing so we filed a claim under this policy with Kia. They immediately rejected it. From our point of view, this policy is worthless. In addition to being treated like garbage by Kia, we are paying nearly double for car insurance. Save money and aggravation, stay away from Kia. if we did not still owe money on this car, we would get rid of it immediately.
